A woman accused and her lawyer risk their lives to defend the rule of God in this Christian drama, the third sequel to Apocalypse: Caught in the Eye of the Storm. Macalousso has Hannah arrested on charges of crimes against humanity, and attorney Mitch Kendrick (Corbin Bernsen) is given the assignment of representing her in court. Victoria Thorne (Jessica Steen), Kendrick's former girlfriend, has been selected to prosecute Hannah in a trail orchestrated to conform to Macalousso's dictates. But the longer Kendrick spends preparing his defense of Hannah, the more deeply he's touched by her message, and he chooses to ignore his orders and defend Hannah's beliefs by refocusing the case on the existence of God, rather than the supposed crimes of Hannah. After astronomy students discover a comet-asteroid collision, an asteroid fragment "the size of the Super Dome" threatens. It's destroyed by a secret USA defense in space, but a large chunk veers off toward Singapore. With another asteroid "the size of Texas" en route, a plan is devised to send oil drillers to land on the asteroid and drop a nuclear device down a 1000-foot shaft, a scheme calculated to crack the asteroid into two halves, saving Earth. NASA begins a crash program to train beer-besotted oil roughnecks for the mission. During a stopover to refuel at the Mir Station, the space station is accidentally destroyed, so a Russian cosmonaut also joins the team. Peter, the pianist, is practicing one day when he is mugged by two AK wannabes who place him alive in a giant frame. Later Peter finds himself framed for real when AK starts leaving clues that make it look like the piano player committed the crimes. Things get worse when the cops find an unconscious Peter beside the two corpses of his muggers. Suddenly Nellie, the TV reporter disappears. McRaney plays real-life serial rapist/murderer Christopher Wilder who, in early 1984, abducted a teenaged girl from a California shopping mall. Repeatedly assaulting the girl and keeping her quiet with threats of death, Wilder forced her to accompany him on a crime spree that ranged from one end of the country to another.
