With Jesse (John Stamos) monopolizing more and more of Joey's time, Danny (Bob Saget) begins to feel left out. Ruefully, Danny recalls when his friendship with Joey (David Coulier) began, twenty years ago--allowing the series' producers to showcase a trio of child actors (Phillip Glasser, Adam Harris, Kristopher Kent Hill imitating the three adult stars. And in a parallel development, Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) becomes jealous of DJ (Candace Cameron) over a similar "stolen friend" situation. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Hide and Go Shriek is pedestrian stalker nonsense, this time featuring the usual group of sex-mad teens camping out overnight in a gigantic furniture superstore (owned by one of the kids' parents) and being picked off by a mysterious killer. The creepy ex-con, who both lives and works at the store, is presented as an obvious red herring, but the killer's true identity comes straight out of left field with a loopy homosexual subplot that serves virtually no purpose other than to tie up one of several dozen loose ends. Competently filmed but shamelessly derivative of countless other slasher films (which weren't particularly original in the first place), this non-thriller offers little of interest apart from a director with a cute name -- the one and only Skip Schoolnik. ~ Cavett Binion, All Movie Guide

In this light, standard comedy about four sailors (D.W. Brown, Peter Ellenstein, Patrick Houser and Chip McAllister) out for a fun weekend in Los Angeles, the men have several misadventures in Watts, at Venice Beach, and at a strip bar before they start to meet a few women who actually find them interesting. The former gang member (McAllister) meets an jazzercise instructor, the class clown (Brown) meets his distaff parallel, the nerd (Ellenstein) meets a thinking young woman, and the sports hero (Houser) meets his counterpart. The fun and interest lie in the telling, and so most of the time is spent on the way to the final pairing off. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, All Movie Guide
