Yoo Hae-jin Movies

Yoo Hae-jin headlines this Korean melodrama, as the truck driver Jeong Cheol-min. Though employed in the shipping business, Jeong falls into a horrid financial crisis with no obvious solution: his daughter suffers from a potentially fatal heart condition, and to save her life he must immediately come up with the 60,000,000 won necessary to pay for an operation. In desperation, Jeong turns to illegal gambling, falls into debt, then seeks an unusual out by attempting to arrange an even work exchange with some dangerous thugs. This will involve dumping several corpses as a favor. En route to the dumping site at Gangwon-do, however, matters take a turn for the worse when Jeong foolishly decides to offer a policeman a ride - thus setting the stage for catastrophe. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
