Tempered with action and adventure, this romantic comedy centers on a pair of rivalrous government agents from different agencies who are forced to team up to stop a wicked crime lord. The FBI agent is a beautiful sexy woman while the handsome DEA agent oozes machismo. Both of their employers are in competition because the department responsible for the crook's arrest will be the one who receives all of his wealth. The woman goes overboard when she nearly marries a Russian mafioso's son because his father works closely with her target. The wedding is spoiled by a terrible shootout that causes the crime lord to mark her for death. Fortunately the woman and the DEA agent convince the hit man performing the task to team up with them. Together, the three form an unstoppable force. Plenty of explosive, violent action ensues. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

Shot almost entirely on a two-and-a-half-story recreation of a full-size operating airport terminal, this romantic comedy from director Steven Spielberg revolves around an Eastern European man by the name of Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks), whose plans of immigrating to New York were hastened by a violent coup in his home country. Unfortunately, Viktor finds himself on the wrong end of a nasty technicality while en route to America: His passport was issued from a country, which, during its upheaval, ceased to exist in an official capacity. Unauthorized to leave Kennedy Airport upon his arrival and unable to return home, Viktor finds himself exiled inside the terminal's international transit lounge. Though airport official Frank Dixon (Stanley Tucci) views Viktor as an annoying bureaucratic glitch, other airport employees -- including a beautiful flight attendant by the name of Amelia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) -- come to see him as a welcome, if unofficial, addition to their numbers. As the days stretch on into months, the terminal transforms from an intimidating atmosphere of forced assimilation into a country within itself, complete with culture, ambition, status, complex diversity, and the need for love. The supporting cast includes Diego Luna, Chi McBride, Kumar Pallana, Zoe Saldana, Eddie Jones, and Jude Ciccolella. ~ Tracie Cooper, All Movie Guide

A man finds himself developing a new perspective on life once he finds out it's almost over in this comedy-drama. Benjamin Kasparian (John Turturro) is a paleontologist of Armenian descent who has just split up with his wife Amanda (Katherine Borowitz). While trying to readjust to single life, Benjamin visits the doctor and is informed he's suffering from an unusual brain disease called Talbot's Syndrome, and he's not likely to live longer than five weeks. Benjamin is initially philosophical about his fate and decides to enjoy himself as much as he can in the time he has left -- much to the disgust of Amanda, his best friend (Oleg Kisseliov), his boss (Julian Richings), and his new girlfriend (Vanya Rose), all of whom believe he should be taking the matter more seriously. But before long, Benjamin starts seeing images of his childhood in Armenia everywhere he goes, and he sets out on one last mission in his life -- to dig up his late parents, who are buried in Canada, and have their remains placed in Armenian soil, where Benjamin now believes he and his family belong. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
