John Solomon Movies
Director and actor John Solomon (not to be confused with the SNL comedy writer of the same name, who was active at about the same time) attended UCLA Film School as a production major, where he directed numerous acclaimed shorts including Song Sung Blue, Nonsense Man, and The Eulogist's Opera. Solomon then moved into features alongside filmmaking partner (and fellow UCLA grad) Grace Lee, starring in her acclaimed, offbeat mockumentary American Zombie -- a comedic horror satire about "misunderstood flesh eaters" populating the boroughs of Los Angeles. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide
