His thirtieth birthday rapidly approaching, a gay actor working as a tour guide at a movie studio theme park seeks to explore life outside the seductive allure of circuit parties in director Carrie Preston's soul searching independent comedy. James Sanchez is your typical late-twenties gay male; his hair is thinning, his gut is growing, and his dreams of fame and fortune have been replaced with bills that are piling up and a car that's about to break down. When he's not stalking the cute young boy at the local coffee house, tentatively exploring the world of online dating, or earning a little extra dough by wearing a giant bunny costume, James at least finds comfort in the company of his best friends Roxy and Brandon. While actress-turned-activist Roxy struggles to show James that there is more to life than dancing the night away at the club, self-assured homosexual Brandon is doing his best to coach his pal in the fine art of breaking the ice when he sees a man he's like to meet. A perpetual outsider who doesn't quite fit in to the circuit scene and finds himself constantly stuck in the middle of his Hispanic-American heritage, James does his best to find his place in the world with a little help from those who care about him most. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Jeanie (Gloria Reuben) finds her faith renewed as she cares for Rev. Matthew Lynn (Roscoe Lee Browne). Lucy (Kellie Martin) discovers that her young patient has been overmedicated. Carter (Noah Wyle) mentors a teenager named Antoine Bell (Corey Parker Robinson). And Romano (Paul McCrane) forces Benton (Eriq La Salle) into a crucial decision. Detectives Stabler (Christopher Meloni) and Benson (Mariska Hargitay) investigate when the five-year-old son of prominent psychiatrist Brett Morton (Kyle MacLachlan) vanishes from a toy store. Though the most obvious suspect would seem to be the convicted child molester seen hanging around the store just before the boy's disappearance, the trail of clues ultimately leads to the victim's 13-year-old neighbor Jake O'Hara (Jordan Garrett). Despite his youth, Jake proves to be a cunning sociopath, adept at manipulating the detectives and leading them down several wrong paths. This 2005 episode would seem to be inspired by a recent court case in which the defendant's addiction to the Grand Theft Auto video game allegedly resulted in a triple murder. The SVU is surprised when Dickie Stabler (Jeffrey Scapperaota), the young son of detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni), points out that the police photos taken at the scene of a prostitute's rape-murder match the images in a new, particularly violent video game. Following this lead, Stabler and his colleagues arrest a pair of teenage "computer addicts" for the crime. Now it falls to Assistant DA Casey Novak (Diane Neal) to tear apart the argument of defense attorney Oliver Gates (Barry Bostwick) that the youthful killers were unable to separate fantasy from reality--and that the video game itself should be put on trial. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Even while recovering from wounds sustained in a shootout, Detective Fin Tutuola (Ice-T) insists upon following a new lead on a case he'd worked on as undercover cop years before. Having promised a woman who has since been murdered that he would locate her drug-addicted daughter, Tutuola intends to keep his promise, teaming up with rookie narcotics-squad cop Mike Sandoval (Nicholas Gonzalez) for that purpose. Angela Lansbury guest stars as Eleanor Duvall, the wealthy and politically powerful mother of suspected serial rapist Gabriel Duvall (Alfred Molina). The SVU team has built up a persuasive case against Gabriel, accusing him of preying upon illegal aliens who are in no position to testify against him. Using her hotshot lawyer Jason Whittaker (Bradley Cooper) as her mouthpiece, Eleanor threatens dire consequences against the detectives if they continue to "harrass" her son--and she has the clout to back up these threats. The situation becomes painfully personal when, shortly after Gabriel is released for lack of evidence, Assistant DA Novak (Diane Neal) is savagely attacked. Rita Moreno costars as a feisty immigrant-rights activist. In an episode inspired by the capture of the notorious "BTK Killer", the police find a note duct-taped to an abandoned baby containing cryptic clues as to the mother's whereabouts. As SVU detectives Stabler (Christopher Meloni), Benson (Mariska Hargitay), Munch (Richard Belzer) and Tutuola (Ice-T) follow a trail of increasingly ominous (and often gruesome) clues, it is apparent that the mother has been kidnapped--and likely murdered--by a cunning serial killer known as RDK. Though equally respected in their field, divorce lawyers Audrey Woods (Julianne Moore) and Daniel Rafferty (Pierce Brosnan) are opposites inside and out of the courtroom. Despite the difference in methods, neither lawyer has lost a case, and neither plan on ending their streak after being respectively hired by Serena (Parker Posey) and Thorne (Michael Sheen), a celebrity power couple gone wrong. The divorce settlement hinges on a particularly spectacular Irish castle, which both parties would like to keep for themselves. Audrey and Daniel hurry to Ireland with depositions in their eyes, but a growing mutual attraction manages to squirm out from beneath, and, after being immersed in a romantic Irish festival, the rival lawyers wake up married. Suddenly, and seemingly out of nowhere, Gerry succumbs to a brain tumor and Holly is left to face an uncertain future. When an American Navy fast-attack submarine is sunken off the coast of North Korea and the vessel's executive and engineering officers are killed, the commander of the submarine is forced to choose between returning to the dangerous waters to tap a North Korean underwater communications cable or facing court martial in this deep-sea thriller starring Adrian Paul and Mathew St. Patrick. As the Naval Board of Inquiry begins investigating the strange fate of the sunken submarine, Commander Burt Habley's (Paul) fate looks increasingly grim. Given the opportunity for redemption by returning to North Korean waters with a fleet of U.S. submarines and executing a mission of great importance to American intelligence forces, Habley attempts to keep his crew out of harm's way and complete the mission while avoiding confrontation with the ship's strict executive officer, Steven Barker (St. Patrick). Upon sensing that their submarine is being followed, Habley attempts to lead their pursuer away from the U.S. fleet by changing course much to the chagrin of the rule-bound Barker.
