Cathy Rigby stars as Peter Pan in this Broadway production of the beloved children's classic. Filmed at the Marquis Theater for a special A&E presentation, the performance features wonderful singing and dancing in such numbers as "I'm Flying," "I Won't Grow," and "Ugh-A-Wug." The shenanigans of Captain Hook, the delicate Tinkerbell, and the antics of the pirates and Indians will delight old fans of Peter Pan and new devotees alike. Throughout her life, young gymnast Andie Burton (Amy Jo Johnson) has dreamed of going to the Olympics, and there isn't anything she wouldn't do to achieve that goal -- even if it means wreaking havoc upon her health. Reprimanded by her coach for being on the "heavy" side, Andie goes to great lengths to lose weight. Finally, her teammate Leslie (Tara Boger) clues Andie in on a surefire method to drop pounds: eat all you want, then purge yourself. As a result, Andie develops a serious eating disorder, fluctuating wildly between anorexia and bulimia -- and there seems to be no way to reverse the damage, nor halt the pressures brought to bear by those supposedly looking out for her best interests. Lloyd Bridges stars as stubborn high-wire artist Karl Wallenda in the made-for-TV The Great Wallendas. The famed family aerialist troupe suffered a tragic setback when, during a performance in Detroit on January 30, 1962, an accident caused the death of Karl's son-in-law and nephew, and the crippling of his own son. With grim determination, Karl insists that the Wallendas recreate their fatal "pyramid" routine. Despite several near-disasters, the Wallendas make a triumphant comeback in Fort Worth, Texas on November 19, 1963, which is faithfully recreated in this film under the supervision of the real Karl Wallenda. Also starring in this 2-hour film are Britt Ekland, Taina Elg, and genuine gymnast Cathy Rigby.
