As punishment for helping the Avatars, Leo (Brian Krause) has his memory wiped clean and sent back into the world to start helping people all over again. Unfortunately, Leo is unable to assist Piper at a time he is needed most: she has lapsed into a coma after a demon attack. As she hovers between life and death, Piper experiences a spectral vision of a former love (welcome back, Julian McMahon!). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

In the first part of Charmed's season-six finale (originally telecast as a single two-part episode), Gideon (Gildart Jackson) makes a last-ditch effort to destroy baby Wyatt. Gideon's scheme involves exiling father-and-son Whitelighters Leo (Brian Krause) and Chris (Drew Fuller) to a bizarre mirror world where evil is good and vice versa. Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and Paige (Rose McGowan) had better hurry in their rescue efforts: if Chris does not return in time for his "past self" to be born to Piper (Holly Marie Combs), the space-time continuum will be damaged beyond repair. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Out of boredom, one of the magic school students conjures up the spirits of Lady Godiva (Kristen Miller) and her age-old nemesis, Lord Dyson (Maury Sterling). If you know your English history, you'll know that Lady G. rode naked through the streets of Coventry to protest Dyson's despotism. Now on the loose in the present, Dyson intends to kill Godiva before she can make the ride that will destroy his power -- and thus the Charmed Ones must come to the rescue of the Unclad One. And in a related development, Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) strips for action as she follows Lady Godiva's example on behalf of contemporary feminism. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Leo (Brian Krause) is ordered by his fellow Avatars to protect the demon seer Kira (Charisma Carpenter) in order to obtain information necessary to vanquish all other demons. At the same time, the Charmed Ones share Kira's latest vision, leading them to believe that the best of all possible worlds will be one ruled by the Avatars. Meanwhile, Kira's fellow demons release the dreaded, all-powerful Zankou (Oded Fehr, in his first series appearance) to counteract her "treason"; and Paige (Rose McGowan) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) are diametrically opposed in their feelings toward the "helpful" Brody (Kerr Smith). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

It seems the evil lawyers of Wolfram & Hart have retained the services of a blind assassin (Jennifer Badger Martin) to kill a bunch of children. When junior attorney Lindsey McDonald (Christian Kane) decides he has scruples and wants out of the firm, Angel (David Boreanaz) and company agree to assist him. Angel enlists the help of Gunn (J. August Richards) in helping Lindsey undermine the assassination plan. While breaking into Wolfram & Hart headquarters, Angel discovers and steals an ancient scroll that will figure heavily in the next episode (see "To Shanshu in L.A."). Meanwhile, a witch hunt within the offices of Wolfram & Hart has Lindsey, who's there as a decoy, sweating bullets. It turns out, however, that the execs are rooting out another turncoat for entertaining a job offer at a competing firm. They kill the guy and offer Lindsey the chance to remain at the firm and receive a promotion. Lindsey, who revealed his impoverished upbringing earlier in the episode, chickens out and agrees. Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter) experiences yet another vision, this one involving danger to a young family. Angel (David Boreanaz) rushes to the scene and barely saves a sleepwalking boy named Ryan (Jesse James) from getting run over. Wesley (Alexis Denisof) realizes that an Ethros demon (Anthony Cistaro) has possessed a member of the boy's family -- mother Paige (Katy Boyer), father Seth (Will Kempe), or daughter Stephanie (Ashley Edner). With the help of some magic brownies, the team roots out the demon, who is hiding inside little Ryan himself. With no priest available, Angel himself must undertake the exorcism. But when the magic box procured by Cordelia to contain the expelled demon proves insufficient, Wes and Angel must hunt the thing down and kill it. Its dying pronouncement is that it had been trying to escape Ryan's body all along -- because the boy himself was pure evil, more monstrous than any demon. Angel and Wes rush back to the family's home just in time to save little Stephanie from Ryan's pyromania. Originally broadcast February 15, 2000, on the WB network, "I've Got You Under My Skin" marked season one, episode 14 of the supernatural comedy drama. ~ Brian J. Dillard, All Movie Guide
After the tragic sacrifice of Doyle (Glenn Quinn) (see "Hero"), Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter) and Angel (David Boreanaz) deal with the emotional fallout of their friend's death. Soon, Cordelia learns of a strange side effect of the final kiss Doyle gave her: She is now experiencing the same painful visions he used to. Shortly thereafter, a telepathic demon named Barney (Maury Sterling) shows up at the office looking for protection from an assassin. Angel leaves Cordelia with Barney and heads out to investigate. Soon, he learns that the assassin is none other than Wesley Wyndam-Pryce (Alexis Denisof), who briefly served as Watcher for Buffy and Faith (see Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "Bad Girls") and is now a self-styled "rogue demon hunter." Angel learns that Wesley isn't hunting Barney; he's actually hunting a Kungai demon who wants to steal Barney's powers. But as the plot thickens, it turns out that Barney himself is actually the thief -- and that he's trying to auction off Cordelia for her newfound powers. A Wolfram & Hart lawyer wins the prize, but Wesley and Angel arrive just in time to save Cordy from being turned against her will into a blind oracle. Originally broadcast December 14, 1999, on the WB network, "Parting Gifts" marked season one, episode ten of the supernatural comedy drama. Angel's ex-girlfriend, Buffy Summers (Sarah Michelle Gellar), arrives in Los Angeles to berate Angel (David Boreanaz) for skulking in the shadows in Sunnydale to protect her without making his presence known (see Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "Pangs"). In the middle of their argument, a demon attacks, and Buffy and Angel take to the sewers to track it. During the ensuing melee, some of the demon's blood mixes with Angel's and he's amazed to discover that he has become completely human. Now that Angel is free from the curse that will turn him into a bloodthirsty monster if he ever experiences true happiness, a blissful day of sex, love, and ice cream soon reunites the ex-lovers. Unfortunately, another demon shows up and Buffy must protect her helpless lover. Angel realizes that without his vampiric abilities, he and those he cares for will be in constant danger. He begs the two Oracles of The Powers That Be to turn him back into a vampire. They use a temporal fold to turn the clock back 24 hours, leaving only Angel with the memory of his perfect day with Buffy and causing everyone else to forget it ever happened. Originally broadcast November 23, 1999, on the WB network, "I Will Remember You" marked season one, episode eight of the supernatural comedy drama. In the Buffy episode "Something Blue," Buffy mentions that she saw Angel in Los Angeles for only a few minutes -- proof that Angel is, indeed, the only one who remembers their tender reunion. ~ Brian J. Steven Spielberg filters J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan through a distinctly 1990s sensibility in Hook. Peter Pan has become Peter Banning (Robin Williams), a 40-year-old mergers and acquisitions lawyer with a permanent scowl on his face and a cellular phone in his belt. Banning has lost any memory of being Peter Pan, and he is also in danger of losing his wife Moira (Caroline Goodall) and two children, Jack (Charlie Korsmo) and Maggie (Amber Scott). Peter and his family travel to London to visit Granny Wendy (Maggie Smith) who recalls Peter's lost youth and asks him, "Peter, dear, don't you know who you are?" With Peter's children asleep in the same bedroom where the original Peter Pan story began, there is a blinding flash. Peter comes into the room to discover a note from Captain Hook (Dustin Hoffman), informing Peter that he has kidnapped his children. Granny Wendy now tells him who he really is and encourages him to re-discover his happy thoughts, transform himself into the Peter Pan of the past, and go rescue his children. With the encouragement of Tinkerbell (Julia Roberts), Peter recalls the birth of his son and once again takes wing. Then it's off to Never Land to rescue his kids. ~ Paul Brenner, All Movie Guide
