A young stoner attempts to help his mother work through the nervous breakdown she suffered as a result of her husband's philandering, and gets some unexpected help from a few unlikely allies in this warm-hearted family drama. Augusta (Virginia Madsen) was a devoted Connecticut mother whose life fell to pieces when she learned that her husband was sleeping with another woman. When he ultimately abandons his family, Augusta experiences a complete mental collapse.
