Stacie Randall Movies
One of the quintessential family shows of the late '70s, CHiPs featured two handsome California Highway Patrolmen: Jon, the blonde uptight one, and Ponch, the free-wheeling Latin Lover. Prowling the L.A. freeways for wrong doers and the inattentive, the duo rode cool bikes, witnessed many exciting accidents -- often ending in fireballs -- saved lives, solved mysteries and flirted with pretty girls. Off duty, they often did all the things considered hip during that time, including lots of disco-dancing.
Made-especially for the TNT cable network and featuring most of the original cast and crew, this lighthearted action-adventure is set 15 years from where the old show left off. Jon (Larry Wilcox) and Ponch (Erik Estrada) have not been partners for years, but a puzzling series of car thefts reunite them. Part of the fun of the show is watching the two leads -- no longer sporting washboard stomachs, trim waistlines and smooth faces -- as they try to adjust to the innovations of modern police work, including new bikes and wireless radios that keep them in constant contact with their senior officer. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

A pair of deadly Gulf War lovers bring the war back home upon returning to Los Angeles in this explosive action entry from Black Scorpion director Jonathan Winfrey. When Harley Cordell (Stacie Randall) and Frank Lydell (Dan Gauthier) were battling Saddam Hussein's deadly regime in the Gulf War, their strength on the battlefield was focused on a common enemy, but upon returning to their home turf in Los Angeles, Harley and Frank soon set their sights on each other in a brutal battle to the death. Upon returning to the U.S., Frank used his extensive training to develop an assassination squad with the strength of a small army, and the first person on Frank's "to die" list is his old partner Harley. Though Frank knows better than anyone living that Harley is not a foe to be taken lightly, his arrogance supersedes his battlefield reasoning and he's soon locked in the fight of his life against the only opponent capable of bringing him down for good. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

For this third sequel to Charles Band's pointless but modestly successful Gremlins rip-off, the writers ignored the previous two installments and brought back the character of Jonathan Graves (Peter Liapis) from the original film, though inexplicably transforming him from a naïve dropout occultist to a streetwise cop. He is forced to do battle with his former girlfriend Alexandra (Stacie Randall), who has escaped from an asylum and is busily conducting human sacrifices in order to summon a demon once created by Jonathan's Satanic dabblings. The title creeps are shoved even further to the background than the previous chapters -- not a bad thing, really, since the effects department still hasn't managed to make them look like anything but inarticulate latex puppets covered in goo. Sadly, what's left is a tired cop-vs.-serial-killer scenario that's even less convincing than the monsters themselves. Z-movie journeyman (and Roger Corman favorite) Jim Wynorski injects the usual dose of titillation and B-movie in-jokes, with the expected results. ~ Cavett Binion, All Movie Guide

This direct-to-video sequel to the teen-oriented body-swap fantasy Dream a Little Dream (1989) - which, like its predecessor, stars Corey Feldman and Corey Haim as longtime buddies Bobby and Dinger - preserves the "fantastic reality" mood of the original but offers audiences a slightly different plot conceit (and omits co-stars Jason Robards, Jr. and Harry Dean Stanton). In the sophomore outing, the boys have graduated from high school and now share an apartment with a lady friend. They happen upon two pair of magical sunglasses, one of which enables the wearer to exert total control over the doings of the person who wears the other pair.
