Another of the HGTV cable network's myriad of home-makeover series, this one was hosted by Atlanta based design specialist Vern Yip of HGTV Design Star fame. On each half hour episode, Yip, his three-person team of "handymen" and life stylist J.R. Stewart provided interior makeovers for truly deserving individuals and families: Hurricane Katrina victims, charity fundraisers, firefighters, eco-friendly activists, adopted youngsters, and other nice people. Two rooms per household were made over in every 30-minute installment: one was planned by the home's owner, the other was a special surprise courtesy of Mr. Yip and company.
