The football program at Manassas High School in Memphis, TN, has earned a powerful reputation during the school's 110-year history, but unfortunately it doesn't happen to be a positive one. The Manassas team has never been eligible for a single play-off game, and no one expected this to change before Bill Courtney entered the picture. Courtney was a businessman and football fan who took it upon himself to do something about the Manassas football program; he volunteered his services as coach and began shaping a hapless team into one with genuine prospects. Filmmakers Dan Lindsay and T.J. Martin followed Courtney and his players through the 2009 season, and their documentary Undefeated examines the coach's efforts to give the school a winning record, as well as the sometimes complex relationship between Courtney, a white, wealthy businessman, and his players, who are all black and mostly come from communities stuck in a cycle of poverty and crime. Undefeated received its world premiere at the 2011 South by Southwest Film Festival. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

The best beer pong players in the world descend on Las Vegas to compete in the World Series of Beer Pong, and filmmaker Daniel Lindsay captures every moment of the drunken competition in this playful documentary. It takes a high alcohol tolerance and a good aim to take the top prize of $20,000, and these booze-soaked athletes won't give up until they've been eliminated, or they're passed out on the floor. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Two alienated twenty-somethings who work as police sanctioned assassins find their paths crossing with two lost souls who are desperate for love and vengeance in director Rohan Michael Hoole's bleak science fiction thriller. The setting is the inner city, and the time is the near future. Holden and Hunter earn their keep by working as hired killers for the cops - crimes that are easily covered up. But Holden and Hunter aren't your average assassins, they never dispense of their targets directly but instead use the victim's own weaknesses to orchestrate their self-destruction. Later, after being joined by vengeful hooker Charlie, innocent drifter Camille appears. Camille is hopelessly lost in the vast city, and desperate to win Holden's heart. Unfortunately, fate has brought these four together under the most grim circumstances imaginable. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
