In the conclusion of the series' two-part Season Six finale (originally telecast as a single hour-long special), Drew (Drew Carey) apparently goes crazy just before he is to become manager Winfred-Louder's new woman's store, and is institutionalized at the behest of store shrink Hershlag (Harry Groener). The only person who knows where Drew is locked up is Mimi (Kathy Kinney), but she won't tell anyone--and for good reason, since it was Mimi who deliberately drove our hero over the edge. Eventually, Lewis (Ryan Stiles) and Oswald (Diedrich Bader) are able to gain entrance to the sanitarium holding Drew, but they're not able to get out until they deploy their new-found fireworks prowess. The season ends as Drew shows up just in time to open the new store--but what he discovers upon arrival drives him insane all over again! ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

It's a deal straight out of "Faust": If Drew (Drew Carey) will recommend Mr. Wick (Craig Ferguson) for the post of regional store manager, Wick will see to it that his old job will automatically go to Drew. In the days that follow, dirty tricks abound, including the sabotaging of Wick's chief competition Mr. Johnson (Sean Smith). Celebrating what he thinks is his good fortune at a demonic "theme" nightclub called the Hell Hole, drew is accosted by an outraged Johnson--whereupon he loses all his friends in one fell swoop! Meanwhile, another surefire promotional idea bites the dust when the guys include a free piece of candy in every bottle of Buzz Beer. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Drew (Drew Carey) is "volunteered" to promote the Winfred-Louder product line over the store's website, with a minicam set up in his house for a two-week period. Unfortunately, the results prove too dull for fans of the World Wide Web, so Mr. Wick (Craig Ferguson) peps up the proceedings by supplying Drew with a girlfiriend--namely Kate (Christa Miller), who of course leaps at the opportunity. When no sparks arise from the Drew-Kate "relationship", Kate is herself replaced by sexy professional model Isabel (Rosa Blasi), a setup that thrills both Drew and the customers. . but not Kate, definetly not Kate! When originally telecast, this episode was simultaneously seen on ABC and streamed over the network's website abc.com.
