Justin Bruening Movies
Raised in a small town in rural Nebraska, Justin Bruening entered show business in a very offhanded (and unpremeditated) way, when he moved to San Diego and happened to be "discovered" by a talent scout at a local McDonald's. This led to a lucrative contract gracing ads for such brands as Abercrombie & Fitch, and in time, an extremely visible soap opera role, as Jamie Martin on the seminal All My Children, starting in 2003. Numerous guest appearances ensued on prime-time series, including Hope & Faith, CSI: Miami, and Cold Case, as well as a plum role in the teen-oriented gross-out comedy Fat Girls (2006). Bruening scored his breakout role, however, as Mike Traceur, the son of crime-fighter Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff) in the telemovie spin-off Knight Rider (2008). ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide- Starring:

After inadvertently becoming involved in the top secret work of his father - whom he never knew - Mike finds that his tremendous expertise as a soldier just happens to make him the perfect candidate to become the new Knight Rider: the driver of a super enhanced car with tremendous intelligence known as KITT (voiced by Val Kilmer). Now, tasked with tracking down mercenaries, busting top secret drug rings, and tracking down powerful people, Mike finds himself behind the wheel of a life he never even knew existed though his biggest challenge might be reigning in his cowboy attitude. ~ Cammila Albertson, All Movie Guide

Two misfits struggle to make their way through the living hell that is high school in this independent comedy drama. Rodney (Ash Christian) lives in a small Texas town where most folks don't have much use for musical theater or much understanding of the gay lifestyle. Since the barely closeted Rodney wants little else besides a boyfriend and the leading role in a Broadway show, this doesn't make life easy for him, and he has only one close friend -- Sabrina (Ashley Fink), a smart and funny girl who happens to weigh nearly three hundred pounds. Sabrina encourages Rodney to embrace his inner "fat girl," and he finds someone who understands his dreams when he strikes up a friendship with Mr. Cox (Jonathan Caouette), the school's drama coach, who also does a mean Liza Minnelli impersonation in his spare time. Written and directed by leading man Ash Christian when he was only 20 years old, Fat Girls was screened in competition at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
