In the world of the emperor penguin, a simple song can mean the difference between a lifetime of happiness and an eternity of loneliness. When a penguin named Mumble is born without the ability to sing the romantic song that will attract his soul mate, he'll have to resort to some fancy footwork by tap dancing his way into the heart of the one he loves. Directed by Babe mastermind George Miller, Happy Feet tells the tale of one penguin's quest for love, and features an all-star cast of vocal talent that includes Robin Williams, Hugh Jackman, Elijah Wood, Nicole Kidman, and Brittany Murphy. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Evidently inspired by Saving Private Ryan, this episode takes place in July of 1944, in the closing stages of WW2. A group of soldiers, led by Sgt. Walker (Matthew Glave), make a pact that if one of them survives the war, that person will deliver letters of hope to the others' loved ones. Monica (Roma Downey) is assigned to watch over this "special" platoon, which includes ultra-cynical Pvt. Faraday (Christian Leffler), and the eternally optimistic Pvt. Rourke (Andrew Kavovit). What follows is a maelstrom of terror, courage, cowardice, stupidity and nobility--but the payoff does not occur until 50 years later, during a poignant visit to a London pet shop. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

In the opening episode of Touched by an Angel's fifth season, amiable Angel of Death Andrew (John Dye) promises a dying hospital patient to help restore the faith of someone else at death's door. The identity of that person can be found in a missing Bible, which Andrew searches for with the help of Monica (Roma Downey). At the same time, the angels must root out the well-meaning but misguided mortal who has been posing as the Angel of Death, providing false hope to a number of terminal patients. Without giving away the ending, it can be noted that among the episode's guest stars are such reliable performers as Chad Lowe, Margot Kidder and Carrie Snodgress. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
