Tim Daly stars in director Janet Greek's fair horror-thriller as Los Angeles attorney Jeff Mills, who rescues beautiful Miranda Reed (Kelly Preston) from being raped. As he and Miranda become lovers, Jeff learns that his new girlfriend is a witch trying to escape from an evil cult led by Aldys (Anthony Crivello), who wants to use her as a human sacrifice. Borrowing ideas from thrillers like Fatal Attraction (1987) and Tutti i Colori del Buio (1972), this borderline occult chiller co-stars genre veterans Rick Rossovich, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Stefan Gierasch, and Audra Lindley. ~ Robert Firsching, Rovi

In this routine slasher film about the relationship between a deranged killer and his victim, Keegan (Jo Ann Harris) is a young woman who returns to her home town to look for her sister's killer. Other victims have been brutally murdered by a man in a black mask, and Keegan turns to the easy-going, investigating cop Roger Lane (Sam Groom) for information on the slayings. As the investigation continues, Roger and his friend Billy (Steve Railsback) play a horror-movie board game that seems to somehow be connected to the deaths, while Keegan meets with her mother (June Lockhart) and relives the past with old friends. In-house references to horror movies are also featured when Keegan and the two board-game buddies watch the 1932 shocker The Monster Walks at Billy's work place. The contrast between Keegan's normal life and the world of thrills in the movies is all the greater in the final scenes, when the killer -- who is fairly easily psyched out early on -- reveals his motives. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi

The owner of a financially foundering skin-flick production company decides that the only way to save it is to put on a Busby Berkeley-esque pornographic musical -- sort of a Broadway meets Times Square affair. Ribald humor, bawdy songs and plenty of skin abounds in this sophomoric satire that while unabashedly trashy, has developed a bit of a cult following. Songs include: "The First Nudie Musical," "The Lights and the Smiles," "Lesbian Butch Dyke," "Five Dancing Dildos," "Perversion," "Honey, What Ya Doin' Tonight," "I Don't Have to Hide Anymore," "Where Is a Man." ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
