An underwater action star attempts to keep his career afloat by convincing three property owners on the tiny Caribbean Island of Cayman Brac to sell their land to a billionaire real estate mogul. The star of the once-popular television series "Diver Down," Josh Anders (Michael J. Lombardi) is "Nature's Hero." But lately the ratings for "Diver Down" have hit the skids, forcing Josh to pad his income with public appearances at shopping malls and pet store openings. Just when it begins to appear that "Diver Down" will get the axe, however, powerful real estate mogul Martin Perkins approaches Josh with a proposition: convince a few locals on Cayman Brac to sell their land to Perkins so he can build a luxury resort, and Perkins will use his influence to get "Diver Down" off the chopping block. After all, Josh is still popular on Cayman Brac, so his mission should be a cakewalk. Arriving on the scenic Caribbean island determined to succeed, Josh charms the first two property owners into selling off without a hitch. Unfortunately for Josh, the third islander isn't about to budge. An ageing eccentric who owns a crumbling bed and breakfast, Rodgers Bowman isn't impressed by Josh's celebrity status, and he's content to live his last days soaking up sun on the beach. As Josh sets out to change Rodgers' mind, he comes to get better acquainted with the island thanks to a painfully shy little boy, and the beautiful but skeptical owner of a local dive shop. A twentysomething misfit dedicates his life to giving the drummer some, even when the drums are only imaginary, in this comedy written and directed by comic Ari Gold. Power (Gold) grew up in a small mining town in New Mexico, where his father (Michael McKean) always imagined his son would one day join him in digging copper from the earth. But Power has a dream of playing the drums, and since he doesn't have a drum kit, he's become a master of "air drums," flailing his arms in the manner of Neil Peart or Keith Moon against a huge but nonexistent set of traps. Power's desire to become the world's greatest air drummer doesn't earn him much respect at home, so he travels to Mexico, where he learns of an air-drumming competition in Newark, NJ. Power hits the road for the garden state and meets Carlos (Steven Williams), a master air drummer who becomes his guide in the art of not really playing. Power also gets some much-needed encouragement from Annie (Shoshannah Stern), a sweet born-again girl living upstairs from him. But when Power learns that his father back home is leading a strike to save jobs for the employees at the local copper mine, winning the title becomes a matter of defending the honor of his family and his hometown, and he dedicates himself to defeating arrogant country music star Dallas Houston (Adrien Grenier), who is favored to win. A pair of estranged twins driven apart by the death of their parents find reconciliation and redemption after following radically different paths in life in director Charles Randolph-Wright's righteous tale of sibling rivalry and divine intervention. Upon losing their parents, twin brothers Teshawn (Billöah Greene) and Wesley Tucker (Darien Sills-Evans) each attempt to deal with the devastating blow in their own personal ways. While Wesley falls back on his faith by becoming a respected Harlem minister, Teshawn breaks into the music business by transforming himself into thuggish gangsta rapper Zulu. With his star on the rise and the future looking bright, Teshawn is suddenly forced to flee his West Coast home for the safety of Harlem when vengeful record producer Bull Sharky (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) vows to put an end to more than just his recording career.
