Dirk Longstreet is back, and he's madder than ever. Longstreet (French action figure Olivier Gruner), a college professor who is a retired martial arts champion, is called into service when his girlfriend, the ambitious reporter Nicole Kent (softcore veteran Gail Harris), is caught by the corrupt guards of a corrupt prison run by a corrupt warden as she captures on video the corrupt kickboxing-to-the-death contests staged for the amusement of the prisoners. They let a very large prisoner, Pike (Jim Shagen), have his way with her (off camera, thankfully). As the now-comatose Nicole hangs onto life in a hospital, Longstreet, with the help of a newspaper reporter (Lorenzo Lamas) and his editor (Jalal Merhi), shaves his head and goes into the prison to bring the villains to their knees, and if he has to break them first, all the better. ~ Buzz McClain, All Movie Guide
One man is forced to go back to the dangerous life he struggled to leave behind in this action-thriller. Dirk Longstreet (Oliver Gruner) is a man who learned to fight and fight well, and put that talent to use in the most punishing environment imaginable. Longstreet was lured into "the Circuit," a private (and illegal) fighting club where spectators will bet fortunes on no-holds-barred battles in which two men fight until they simply can't go on -- often until one of the fighters has died. Longstreet was one of the very few men who not only fought in the Circuit and lived to tell about it, but managed to move on and build a new life for himself. Longstreet joined the faculty of a college, where he enjoyed working with athletes, until he learned that his younger brother, Jeremy (Ilya Morelle), had been recruited to become the Circuit's newest fighter. Now Longstreet must step back into the ring in order to spare his brother the fate he was able to escape. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

Stryker is successful in his supernatural efforts, and the trio of super-powered chop socky wizards go on a rampage through Chinatown, terrorizing citizens at every turn. This cheesy martial arts flick has two government agents fighting to get out of a compound that trains assassins with virtual reality. Some good computer effects (for a film of this type) but still unable to achieve anything resembling entertainment. ~ Sean D. MacLaggan, All Movie Guide

Bolo Yeung heads the rather intimidating cast of Fearless Tiger. The plot is a mixture as before: Kung-fu masters and students, betrayals, lifelong searches, revenge, final one-on-one confrontation. The film's selling cards are its dizzying action content and its variety of Far Eastern backgrounds. And, hey, there's good old Jamie Farr in a supporting role. Director Ron Hulme also wrote the script for Fearless Tiger, contributing such rapier-wit dialogue as "Ugh", "Arggh", and "Aiyee!" ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

This sci-fi actioner tells a martial artsy version of a split society during the 21st century. The upperclasses dwell in extravagant shelters below the surface of the earth--which was destroyed by a damaged ozone layer. The surface, of course, is where the poor have been left to fend for themselves. To ensure the safety of those underground, the Controller employs a department of Tracker/Communicators (or T.C.s) to function as security guards/cops. Now that the earth has finally repaired itself, the "bosses" of the shelters plan to get rid of inhabitants on the surface with a doomsday weapon so they can return to the coveted domain. After his partner Zoey (TC200X) is killed and cyberly resurrected as an android, Jason Storm (TC2000) must use his karate expertise to battle the Controller's gangs, both from the surface and the shelters, while he attempts to save the world from nuclear disaster. ~ Kristie Hassen, All Movie Guide
