Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry reprise their roles as a killer for hire and a dentist with a bad case of nerves in this sequel to the comedy hit The Whole Nine Yards. Former hitman Jimmy "The Tulip" Tudeski (Bruce Willis) has retired from his life of crime and is living a quiet life of cooking and housekeeping in Mexico, despite the fact his wife, Jill (Amanda Peet), a would-be hired killer, still wants to keep her hand in the business. Tudeski has been able to convince the authorities he's dead thanks to dental records falsified by his former neighbor Nicholas "Oz" Oseransky (Matthew Perry), who lives in Los Angeles. But Oseransky discovers that not everyone is fooled by Tudeski's handiwork when his wife, Cynthia (Natasha Henstridge), is kidnapped by Lazlo Gogolak (Kevin Pollak) and his goons. Gogolak is a high-ranking member of the Hungarian mafia, and Tudeski previously murdered his son, so he's abducted Cynthia in order to get Oseransky to reveal the hired killer's current whereabouts. But Tudeski has come to like the quiet life, and isn't so sure he wants to face Gogolak and his crew for the sake of a jittery dentist who once did him a favor. Most of the principle cast of The Whole Nine Yards returned for this sequel, though director Howard Deutch stepped in to replace Jonathan Lynn, who was working on The Fighting Temptations when The Whole Ten Yards went into production. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

A commitment-phobic Los Angeles photographer gets more than he bargained for when he invites an unpredictable jazz singer to his father's retirement party in Detroit in this comedy of manners from first-time filmmaker Thom Steinhoff. Drew is a West-coast shutterbug who just doesn't see the point of being in a committed relationship, but when his father requests Drew's presence at his upcoming retirement party with the one stipulation that his freewheeling son bring a date to the big event, Drew puts in a call to his old Detroit flame, CeCe. When CeCe rejects Drew's invitation on the grounds that she is already attending the party with hotshot Detroit basketball star Marcus, the jealous Drew attempts to one-up his former sweetheart by inviting a beautiful Los Angeles jazz singer named Tatiana as his date. His plan to drive CeCe into a jealous rage goes awry, however, when Drew discovers that Tatiana is something of a loose cannon. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Don Rickles guest stars as Harold Schwan, a successful dry cleaner with more than his share of dirty laundry. Unbeknownst to Schwan, the gang of thieves who've been robbing his stores consists of his "three ex-es": his former wife, his former mistress and his former secretary. As for the ladies, they are blissfully unaware that they have stolen money that Schwan was laundering (no pun intended) for a mobster named Munks (Ron Karabatsos)--and that's how Hunter (Fred Dryer) gets involved in the intrigue. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

In the conclusion of Hunter's two-part Season Six finale, Hunter (Fred Dryer) swears vengeance after his mentor Dave Peterson (Ryan Cutrona) is killed just before his retirement, persumably by the thieves associated with a demented street fence called "The Captain". Meanwhile, McCall mulls over the prospect of marrying her former flame Dr. Turnan (Robert Connor Newman) and moving with him to London. Without giving too much away, it can be noted that this episode marks the final appearance of series costar Stepfanie Kramer--who, of course, plays McCall. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Action star Steven Seagal crosses Rip Van Winkle with Clint Eastwood in this belabored revenge odyssey. Seagal plays L.A. Detective Mason Storm and, over the opening credits, Storm is seen busily eavesdropping on crooked politician Vernon Trent (William Sadler). Once he has the goods on Trent, Storm phones his partner Kevin O'Malley (Frederick Coffin) to report on his progress. Unfortunately, crooked cops in the same room pick up the extension phone and listen in, thereby dooming Storm. Soon killers show up at Storm's home and blow away Storm's wife Felicia (Bonnie Burroughs) and their young son. Storm himself is also assumed dead, but when he is taken to the hospital, he lapses into a coma. O'Malley spirits him away, and everyone else, for all intents and purposes, thinks Storm has died. Seven years later, under the tutelage of incredibly beautiful nurse Andy Stewart (Kelly LeBrock), Storm rises from his coma and plots his revenge. With the able assistance of Andy, Storm heads off on a killing spree, becoming (as one character describes him), "the most unstoppable sonuvabitch I ever met." ~ Paul Brenner, All Movie Guide
