A man involved with two women mistakenly brings them together in this drama from Romanian filmmaker Radu Muntean. Paul (Mimi Branescu) is a man edging into middle age who has been married to Adriana (Mirela Oprisor) for ten years. Paul and Adriana have a warm and loving relationship and an eight-year-old daughter, Mara (Sasa Paul-Szel), but Paul has grown restless and vaguely disenchanted with his marriage. Paul has been having an affair with Raluca (Maria Popistasu), a younger woman who makes her living as a dentist, and he feels an excitement with her that's missing from his marriage. During the Christmas season, Mara needs to have her braces adjusted and Paul is unable to get an appointment with their usual orthodontist; he arranges for Raluca to take care of the matter, and unintentionally causes Raluca and Adriana to meet face to face. The two women become aware that they're both in love with the same man, forcing Paul to make a decision that's bound to bring pain to more than one person in the equation. Marti, Dupa Craciun (aka Tuesday, After Christmas) was an official selection at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

Dutch director Miel van Hoogenbemt's gentle and slightly ironic romantic comedy A Perfect Match stars actor Jan Decleir (Antonia's Line) as Leopold Vossius, a widower who has retired from his longtime job as a schoolteacher. Faced with hours of solitude, Leopold accepts the aggressive prompting of a neighbor, Julien, to find a new wife on the internet. Numerous candidates crop up who all seem to be perfect matches for Leopold - making the choice of a mate supremely difficult. When Leopold begins going out with them, however, he discovers that all of the candidates have bizarre eccentricities. Throughout, he maintains that all he wants is a partner who can help him maintain his ordered and predictable lifestyle. Then a new housekeeper, Alina, turns up; to Leopold's horror, she not only destroys one prospective romantic liaison after another, but turns the house into a veritable bedlam of chaos, ruining everything she lays her hands on. In the process, Alina stirs up feelings in Leopold that neither can even begin to anticipate. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi

With his feature Love Sick, Romanian director Tudor Giurgiu paints a sensitive and tender observational portrait of falling for the first time - for the same gender - as experienced by two female co-eds. Cristina, nicknamed Kiki (Maria Popistasu) is an urban girl from Bucharest; outgoing, outspoken, playful and ebullient, she much prefers partying to hitting the books. Alex (Ioana Barbu), who hails from rural Pietrosita, Romania, might be described as Kiki's exact opposite -- taciturn, soft-spoken and introverted, she immerses herself in her studies. The two sense an immediate attraction and become romantically and sexually involved, to the consternation of Kiki's brother Sandu (Tudor Chirila), who feels a significant degree of incestuous attraction toward her. As the tale unfurls, the girls' relationship spills over into the summer, with the two driving out to spend the warm months at Alex's family's home. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
