Daniel Stern, Ileana Douglas, Kevin Pollak, and Jere Burns headline director Tony Krantz's black comedy detailing the meltdown of the typical nuclear family as they attempt to rescue their little princess from a notorious serial killer. Otis Broth (Bostin Christopher) needs a date for the prom, and Riley Lawson (Ashley Johnson) is just the type of girl he's been searching for. Unfortunately for Riley, Otis has a rather sinister method of charming the fairer sex - it's got something to do with power tools and other assorted sharp objects. When the authorities fail to deliver in their promise to bring Riley home unharmed and the young girl miraculously manages to break free of Otis' dungeon-like cellar, the Lawson's decide that the family that slays together stays together and sets out to seek vengeance against the hulking serial killer on their own terms. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

As prom gets underway and the dead come out to play, the only hope for saving the day is the mismatched couple that can't seem to agree on anything. As the Cosa High School Senior Prom draws near, the local teens are more preoccupied with getting laid and looking good on the big night. But while local teen Jimmy (Jared Kusnitz) seems completely unfazed by all the infectious enthusiasm that's spreading through the student body, his girlfriend Lindsey (Greyson Chadwick) has thrown herself into the teenage ritual and remains determined to have the perfect romantic evening. But it's kind of difficult to enjoy an intimate dance when your classmates are trying to eat your brains, and when the tux-clad teens begin turning blue and munching on flesh, Jimmy and Lindsey are forced to put their differences aside long enough to extinguish the zombie plague before it spreads beyond campus grounds. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Schlock producer Charles Band is back in killer doll country once again with this tale of century-old possessed dolls out for revenge against crummy teenagers that wish their masters ill will. When young Guy Filbrook (Jared Kusnitz) moves into a new house with his family, little does he know what evil memories haunt the grounds on which he sleeps. One hundred years earlier, a young girl died under questionable circumstances and was buried in the backyard next to a group of dolls that her abusive father ordered her to bury. When Guy unknowingly unearths the gruesome play-toys, they soon become his only refuge after a group of teenaged jerks begin to harass the lonely boy. Soon Guy's soul is miraculously replaced by the dead girl's, who then breathes life into the dolls in a fit of revenge that will soon claim the lives of the boy's tormentors as well as threaten the life of his sister and her friends, who just so happen to be having a sleepover at their house the night of the massacre. ~ Jeremy Wheeler, All Movie Guide
