An arrested adolescent hell-bent on good times decides to throw a different sort of bash in this comedy. Eric (Jason Sudeikis) is in his early thirties, but he hasn't changed much since his high school days -- the guy lives to party with a handful of his old friends, and the crazier the get-together, the better. Every summer, Eric throws an epic-scale theme party at his parents' home in the Hamptons, as he and his pals get crazy at the "White Trash Bash" or a "Star Wars vs. Star Trek" throwdown. However, this grand tradition is about to end, as Eric's dad (Don Johnson) has announced he's selling the house. Eric decides he should save the biggest party for last, and tells his friends he's hosting an orgy. While Eric and his male friends are just thick-headed enough not to see the problems inherent in having group sex with some of their best friends, the gals in their social circle are more hesitant, but most decide to sign on, at least in principle. However, Eric has become infatuated with Kelly (Leslie Bibb), the attractive real-estate agent who is selling the house, and decides to invite her to the big blowout without telling her just what kind of party she can expect. A handful of strangers living on the edge of Los Angeles' sex industry share a terrible secret in this psychological drama. Jimmy (Paul Ben-Victor) is a small-time kingpin in California's underground sleaze empire, and he runs a strip club and peep-show arcade where Tara (Angela Sarafyan) displays her body for paying customers. Tara is working off a sizable debt to Jimmy, and her boyfriend, Jaron (Josh Janowicz), meets with Jimmy's business partner Uncle Lou (Marcus Giamatti) to find out what it would cost to clear her bill. Eager to make some fast money to pay off Jimmy, Jaron teams up with Balery (Brittany Snow), a hooker who wants to get even with an abusive regular customer. One of Jimmy's more unlikely colleagues is Mr. Garrett (Eddie Jemison), a high-school teacher who learns that two of his students, Courtney (Chloe Domont) and Melody (Candice Accola), are attracted to him. Garrett decides to introduce the girls to Jimmy, who wants to lure them into a career in pornographic modeling. And Wes (Clayne Crawford) is a self-centered musician whose career has yet to take off; needing money, he allows his girlfriend, Chantel (Shanna Collins), to earn their keep by working as a streetwalker. A slacker tries to do the right thing for his family with unexpectedly chaotic results in this independent comedy. Salman (Scott Prendergast) is an out-of-work twentysomething who has few skills and fewer prospects. However, things are significantly worse for his older brother -- his National Guard unit has been called back to Iraq, and his wife, Leslie (Lisa Kudrow), needs to go back to work in order to support their children. However, Leslie doesn't have anyone to look after her two sons, so when Salman learns of her sad situation, he volunteers to move in and help mind the kids. Salman quickly discovers the boys are nearly psychotic and will stop at nothing to get him out of the house, including putting sharp objects in his breakfast. With the household still short on money, Leslie helps Salman get a job, and soon he's become the corporate mascot for a failing Internet company, who pounds the pavement wearing a strange blue costume hoping to drum up interest in renting space in the corporate offices. Vic (Michael Chiklis) persuades an increasingly disgruntled Lem (Kenny Johnson) to help him convince Tavon (Brian J. White) that he hit Mara (Michele Hicks) during his fight with Shane (Walton Goggins), so that he'll agree to help them cover up the whole incident. The murder of a public defender opens up a case that could cause tremendous problems for the department, but Claudette (CCH Pounder) insists on following through, regardless of the consequences to her career. Mara (Michele Hicks) asks Shane to request a transfer, because she doesn't want Vic to be a part of their lives. The treasury department uncovers their mole, who reveals that the Armenians most recently asked for information about Vic, Lem, Shane, and Ronnie (David Rees Snell). With the Armenians hunting them, and his team unraveling, Vic decides to take the fight to them. A look into the Armenians' illegal gas business leads to a heroin operation that eventually leads them into deadly proximity with their old nemesis, Margos (Kurt Sutter, uncredited). Meanwhile, increased scrutiny on money laundering makes it impossible for the team to clean their stolen loot, and Lem grows increasingly worried about the Strike Team going down. ~ Josh Ralske, Rovi
