In this martial arts actioner, a kickboxer's life goes into the gutter after he accidentally kills an opponent during an important bout. Devastated, the distraught fighter becomes a street bum until his brother's murder by a drug-lord rouses him into a frenzy for revenge. Kickboxer Johnny Rider's (Dale "Apollo" Cook) target is narcotic kingpin Rod Sparks (Nick Hill). In order to bring him down, Johnny joins Sparks' organization as a goon. His plans to get near Sparks and destroy him, however, are nearly destroyed when dogged detective Bill Williams (Ron Hall), himself a kickboxer and the brother of the man Johnny accidentally killed, enters the scenario. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

A golden Buddha and two kickboxing con men provide the basis of this lively martial-arts actioner that opens during the Vietnam war as three lost commandos make their way though the jungle and find themselves in a cave containing a fabulous golden Buddha. The story jumps ahead twenty years as two con artists Dave and James run a successful scam that bilks gamblers out of their money during phony kickboxing matches. One of the three veterans tells the grifters about the treasure and enlists their aide in getting it. He then draws them a map just before he is executed by the villain McMann's henchmen. Shortly thereafter, James, Dave, and Dave's girl friend, Julie, head for Cambodia. They are pursued by McMann and his deadly gang. The first of several sequels to 1989's Bloodfist, Bloodfist 2 once more stars kickboxing champ Don "The Dragon" Wilson. This time, Wilson is up against a diabolical Fu Manchu type named Mr. Su (Joe Mari Avellana). Our hero and five other kickboxing experts are kidnapped by Su and forced to do battle against the villain's steroid-crazed henchmen. It's up to Wilson to straighten things out. After escaping from a Vietnamese POW camp where they had suffered for five years, five American soldiers attempt to get out of the country before being spotted by Russian and Vietnamese troops in this tale of survival from Filipino filmmaker Eddie Romero. As the five escapees descend upon a remote whorehouse in hopes of collecting the supplies needed to reach freedom, a group of desperate prostitutes plea with the men to transport them to freedom and a troupe of Russian soldiers complicate their fragile escape plan. Trapper (Michael James) leads a group of survivors from a nuclear holocaust in this uneven fantasy adventure. After battling hostile jungle natives, they reach the cave of Goruk (Ken Metcalfe), the keeper of a primitive nuclear reactor, who holds the key to immortality. Enraged, the veteran joins forces with a CIA agent and a mercenary band. Together they head to Southeast Asia's Golden Triangle to break up a major drug ring.
