Series regular John Stamos essays a dual role as Jesse Katsopolis and Jesse's lookalike Greek cousin Stavros. Invited to stay at the Tanner household, Stavros quickly reveals himself as a duplicitious con artist. The rest of the family sees through Stavros immediately, but agree to put up with him for Jesse's sake--until Stavros literally overplays his hand with Jesse's wife Becky (Lisa Loughlin . Multimillionaire Lou Bond (Keene Curtis) offers to purchase the Tanner house, in which he lived as a youth, for an astronomical price. Everyone in the household looks forward to this huge cash windfall, and to moving into brand-new homes. Only Michelle (theOlsen twins) balks at the notion of leaving San Francisco--and she's willing to go to extreme and devious lengths to keep the family together under one roof. Jesse (John Stamos) has finally completed all requirements for his high school diploma, and he and the family are eagerly looking forward to his long-overdue graduation, where he is to deliver the keynote speech. Alas, Jesse and the gang end up trapped in the San Francisco subway system and miss the ceremony altogether. Though sorely disappointed by this turn of events, Jesse nonetheless works up enough self-esteem to not only go on with his life, but to help a young stranger who is on the verge of dropping out of school. DJ (Candace Cameron) inadvertently violates her curfew when, while watching a video with Steve (Scott Weinger), she falls asleep in his new apartment. Happening onto the scene is dad Danny (Bob Saget), who naturally assumes the worst. Not unexpectedly, more things go wrong than right, especially when Jesse and his only waitress Kimmy (Andrea Barber) end up locked in a storage room. During an audition for a morning radio show, Joey (David Coulier) begins needling Jesse (John Stamos) about personal matters. Though Jesse is outraged at this breach of privacy, the boys get the radio job and Joey is encouraged to continue making cruel personal jokes on the air. Joey sees nothing wrong with this until the tables are turned and he is subjected to the same treatment by abrasive kiddie entertainer "Jungle Jenny" (Edie McClurg). When Danny (Bob Saget) is elected San Francisco's "Bachelor of the Month", daughter Michelle (played by the Olsen twins) worries that her dad will be spending so much time socializing that he won't have any room for her.
