Here's the "High School" episode, wherein the series' stars flash back to their teenage years (complete with bad hair and worse outfits). Humiliated over being redued to working in the cafeteria of his former high school, Drew (Drew Carey) can't quite figure out how he came to be such a miserable failure. Rallying around our hero in his hour of need, Oswald (Diedrich Bader), Lewis (Ryan Stiles) and Kate (Christa Miller) each insists that he or she is responsible for Drew's sorry lot in life, thanks to miscalculations and blunders made in the past. It's a noble gesture, but in the final analysis Drew must admit the awful truth: He has messed up his life simply by being a "pity whore"! ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

This is the legendary "backwards" episode, beginning at the end with a bedraggled Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld), George (Jason Alexander), and Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) returning from a trip to India. Thereafter, each successive scene takes us back in time, culminating with the opening of the story -- 13 years earlier! In between, the action involves a birthday, a wedding, a snowball, and a man with the initials F.D.R. For the benefit of those confused by the reverse chronology, the syndicated print of this episode superimposes "time cards" at crucial points in the story. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Al (Ed O'Neill) has been avoiding sex of late (so what else is new?), so Peggy (Katey Sagal) tries out a series of skimpy outfits which she's bought from Hemphley's lingerie store. This serves to arouse Al's appetite--not for Peggy, but for a thick, juicy steak. Meanwhile, 5-year-old Seven (Shane Sweet) continues to exhibit his "talent" with something resembling a funny stretch of dialogue (it's only a matter of time before the producers wise up and dump the kid!) ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
