Among those gathered at a Carey family barbecue is Drew's 18-year-old cousin Kristen (guest star Nikki Cox)--better known as "the only good-looking Carey". While Kristen shops around for a good college, Drew (Drew Carey) arranges for her to work at the store. George (Jason Alexander) schemes to wrest a choice apartment away from a survivor of the 1956 Andrea Doria disaster. While covering the Presidential Primary in Wisconsin, the "FYI" staff is stranded at a diner several miles from Madison when their fancy T-2000 bus breaks down. Undaunted, Murphy (Candice Bergen) decides to seek out interviews and photo ops amongst the diner's patrons.
