Jessica (Angela Lansbury arrives at the campus of Crenshaw University to receive an honorary degree. Among the faculty members is Professor Joselyn Clover (Polly Bergen), whose daughter Daphne (Mary Kate McGeehan) has penned a notoriously lurid best-selling novel. When the campus "stud" is murdered, both Joselyn and Daphne are suspected--whereupon both confess to the crime in hopes of protecting one another. Magnum (Tom Selleck) pays a visit to the Big Island, where the cattle ranch run by teenager Kenny Harbison (Michael Sharrett) is being plundered by rustlers. Investigating, Magnum soon realizes that Kenny's claims of affluence are highly exaggerated, and that the ranch may be on its last legs. Once he has absorbed this bit of news, the detective must determine which of two supsects is stealing the cattle: The estate's head ranch hand, or a neighboring rancher who happens to be an old friend of Robin Masters. Appropriately enough, this "Hawaiian western" spotlights the talents of two former TV cowboys, Doug McClure (The Virginian) and Henry Darrow (The High Chaparral). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

The A-Team sets about to rescue the passengers of a hijacked 747 with Hannibal (George Peppard)and Face (Dirk Benedict) posing as airline executives so they can trade themselves for the hostages. As it turns out, retrieving the plane is the easy part: The trouble arises when, while escaping from the villains, B.A. (Mr. T) goes into cataleptic shock at the prospect of flying, Hannibal is helplessly trapped in the airport tower, and a temporarily blinded Murdock (Dwight Schultz) is at the 747's controls! Without tipping the ending, it can be noted that a climactic action sequence was lifted from the theatrical feature Airplane (and we haven't even mentioned the possibility that "Howling Mad" Murdock may finally be declared sane--much to his dismay). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
