Two people looking for excitement get far more than they bargained for in this tense erotic thriller. Phil and Diane (Michael Artura and Sara Suzanne Brown) are a married couple who play a strange sexual game to keep their relationship exciting -- Diane uses her wiles to seduce men who find her attractive (they aren't difficult to find), and Phil storms in on them in the heat of passion, threatening the men with a gun before stepping in to make love with Diane. While there's always an element of danger in this, things take a potentially deadly turn when Diane sets her sights on Mickey (Len Donato), a successful restaurant owner. Len isn't so easily scared away by Phil, and Diane isn't so sure she wants him to go away, leading to an affair that raises Phil's jealousy to the boiling point. Will movies like this ever stop being made? Like its dozens of predecessors, Lauderdale is worth watching only when the requisite bikini babes flounce past the camera. Darrel Guilbeau and Jeff Greenman are among the thousands of lascivious collegiates who descend upon Fort Lauderdale during Spring Break.
