Vin Diesel and Paul Walker return to the film franchise that helped to launch each of their respective careers as the Fast and the Furious series winds to a close under the creative eye of Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift director Justin Lin. Fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) is back in Los Angeles to seek out the truth behind a high-profile crime, but his presence in town doesn't sit well with Agent Brian O'Conner (Walker). These two rivals are forced to unite in the cause of fighting a common enemy, however, when convoy heists and precision tunnel crawls lead them out of Los Angeles and into the Mexican desert. Now, in order to take down a formidable opponent with some serious skills behind the wheel, Dom and Brian forge an uncertain partnership while exploring thrilling new frontiers in the fine art of racing. Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, and John Ortiz co-star. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Add Straight Outta Puerto Rico: Reggaeton's Rough Road to Glory to QueueAdd Straight Outta Puerto Rico: Reggaeton's Rough Road to Glory to top of Queue
The Spanish-language musical form known as reggaeton took shape in Puerto Rico during the late 1990s. In lieu of emerging as its own unique and inimitable genre, it actually comprised a mélange of several pre-established genres - specifically, rap, hip hop, reggae and Caribbean music. Per its title, the documentary Straight Outta Puerto Rico: Reggaeton's Rough Road to Glory discusses the evolution of reggaeton from an indigenous Puerto Rican style (born and bred in the poverty-strewn barrios of San Juan) to a transcontinental phenomenon. It also details reggaeton's ultimate status as a government-discouraged form of grassroots personal expression with incendiary political content that prompted widespread censorship, political crackdowns, and suppression. The program contains interviews and performances featuring reggaeton superstars such as The Luny Tunes, DJ Nelson, Mexicano 777 and many others. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide

Puerto Rican musician Don Omar began his working life as a minister, but ultimately decided to leave the church in favor of devoting himself full-time to recording activity. Omar rode the crest of the then-nascent reggaeton craze to full-fledged superstardom. Beginning in 2003, he also issued a succession of albums on the V.I. Music and Machete Music labels that earned a favorable critical response and sold phenomenally well. Omar headlines the music release Don Omar: King of Kings Live, an unofficial companion piece to his 2006 King of Kings album. It includes 17 live tracks and 3 music videos. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide
