The daughter of longtime screen actor Ernie Lively and the junior member of a showbiz-savvy sibling collective that also includes brothers Jason and Eric and sisters Lori and Robyn, Tarzana, CA native Blake Lively possesses just the kind of wholesome good looks that the Hollywood lens seems to love. Of course, it wouldn't take a psychic to figure out what line of work the cheery and clean-cut blonde would go for, and even after suffering an early career setback at a Mrs. Doubtfire audition gone bad, Lively was still determined to persevere. It was at the tender age of five that young Lively first had her shot at the big time, and though her parents' plan to calm her by telling her that she was only going to be auditioning alongside Robin Williams' twin bizarrely backfired when the aspiring actress was introduced to the real deal, she would later bounce back around the end of the 1990s with a featured performance in the girlish hit The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. A family affair was quick to follow when Lively and fellow family members Robyn, Lori, and Ernie were all tormented by Crispin Glover in the 2006 horror film Simon Says. The 2008 sequel to the female buddy film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants constitutes an adaptation of Ann Brashares' novel Forever in Blue: The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood. Like the premier installment, this picture explores the seriocomic events that unfold one summer in the lives of four temporarily estranged friends as an extremely special pair of jeans works its way from one girl to the next. In one subplot, Lena (Alexis Bledel) travels to Providence, RI, and enrolls in a painting course; in another, Bridget (Blake Lively) embarks on an archaeological excavation in Greece; in a third, Carmen (America Ferrera) works on the backstage crew for a Vermont-based theater festival; and in the fourth, Tibby remains in New York and enrolls in summer courses. Some of the world's most-respected directors align forces to pay tribute to the city of the New York in this unconventional omnibus sister film to 2006's Paris, Je T'Aime. Danger comes in pairs in this gruesome horror story. Kate (Margo Harshman), Zack (Greg Cipes), Ashley (Kelly Vitz), Riff (Artie Baxter) and Vicky (Carrie Finklea) are five college students who are heading out together for a spring break camping trip. Hoping to add some excitement to the proceedings, they set up camp at the Heathers, a remote wooded location where a notorious murder took place years before. Legend has it a young boy killed his parents and beat his twin brother into a state of severe brain damage in the Heathers, but the students, attracted to the spooky ambience, don't imagine any real danger still lurks in the forest. En route, the kids stop for supplies at a ramshackle general store, where they meet Stanley (Crispin Glover), an eccentric shopkeeper with a mentally feeble brother, Simon (also played by Glover). What they kids don't realize until it's too late is that Stanley is the murderous youngster of legend, and with the help of Simon, he's still in the business of murdering strangers when the opportunity presents itself. Ann Brashares' best-selling novel for young adults comes to the big screen in this engaging comedy drama. Carmen (America Ferrera), Bridget (Blake Lively), Lena (Alexis Bledel), and Tibby (Amber Tamblyn) are four teenage girls who have been close friends since they were babies (and even before -- their mothers all knew each other from attending the same prenatal exercise class). However, fate has dictated that for the first time ever the young women will be spending their summer apart -- Carmen will be visiting her father, whom she hasn't seen in years, Lena will be visiting her grandparents in Greece, Bridget is attending a soccer camp in Mexico, while Tibby is stuck working at a discount store. A few days before Carmen, Lena, and Bridget leave, the four go shopping, and while at a thrift shop they discover an unusual pair of blue jeans that, despite the fact they're all of different height and weight, fits all four women perfectly.
