An elderly man is forced to come to terms with his age and his future in this drama from director Mario Camus. Alfonso (Alvaro de Luna) is in his early Seventies and while he still feels sharp, looking after Nanda (Mari Gonzalez), who cared for him as a child and has only a short time to live, is making him painfully aware of his mortality. Luisa (Marian Aguilera) is a social worker who keeps tabs on Nanda, and through her Alfonso meets her brother Martin (Oscar Abad), who hopes to turn his passion for bike racing into a career. Alfonso was a passionate cyclist in his youth, and he becomes a mentor to the younger man as he looks back on his lost youth. Meanwhile, Luisa is looking for new excitement in her own life, and thinks she's found it in a romance with Ramiro (Antonio de la Torre), a mechanic who works on motorcycles. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

A mismatched couple discovers that whatever can go wrong will go wrong during a family visit in this comedy. Leni (Marian Aguilera) is a television reporter from a Jewish family in Spain. One weekend, Leni drops by her family's home for a visit, with her new boyfriend, college professor Rafi (Guillermo Toledo), in tow. Rafi is more than a bit nervous about meeting Leni's family -- chronically nervous mother Gloria (Norma Aleandro), blustery father Ernesto (Mario Martin), dance-student sister Tania (María Botto), straight-laced bother David (Fernando Ramallo), and addled grandfather Dudu (Max Berliner). But Leni quickly makes matters worse when she announces to her family, who are waiting for Ernesto to return from work, that Rafi just happens to be Palestinian. Matters become a bit tense after that, and while joking with Leni with a block of frozen soup in the kitchen, Rafi accidentally drops the package out the window -- hitting a man on the head who might be Ernesto. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

Spanish-born filmmaker Jacobo Rispa (Un Día Perfecto) helms his second feature with the savvy thriller You Should Not Be Here, which debuted in Spain in 2002 and received its first American issue from the Tanelorn Films label. Pablo Echarri and Pilar Punzano star, respectively, as Gonzalo and Marta, two Internet buffs eager for new thrills and unknown adventures. The pair try logging onto an online discussion forum whose host, Sergio Tristan Ulloa, delights in having his users describe and discuss their reactions to death-defying situations. All of this seems harmless enough, but when the two meet Sergio in person and he begins imposing lethal situations on them, eventually under the threat of murder -- such as trapping them, unwittingly, in a narrow cave filled with water -- Gonzalo and Marta are forced to engage in a series of cunning mind games with their tormentor. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
