Larry (Larry David) meets Cheryl (Cheryl Hines) and Yoshi (Greg Watanabe), an art dealer, at a Japanese restaurant for lunch. The staff of the restaurant call Larry "Chicken Teriyaki Boy" due to his penchant for ordering the same meal every time. At lunch, Larry is surprised to learn that Yoshi's father (Ken Takamoto), who lives in the same nursing home as Nat (Shelley Berman), was a kamikaze pilot during WWII. "Shouldn't he be dead?" Larry asks Yoshi, who is forced to explain, "He grazed the ship." The meal ends disastrously, with Yoshi believing that the oblivious Larry is calling him a chicken. Later, Larry is at a poker game when the host, Kevin (Kevin Nealon) is called away because Yoshi, who happens to be his brother-in-law, has attempted suicide. The guests decide to keep playing cards. Also, Larry catches Nat watching an inappropriate video at an even more inappropriate volume, debates the merits of a doctor's prescription vs. a pharmacist's recommendation, and demands an investigation into the legitimacy of the bingo game at Nat's nursing home. ~ Josh Ralske, All Movie Guide

Rosanna Arquette guest stars as convict Constance Ferguson, who tries to get out of solitary confinement by swallowing four razor blades--an act of pathetic bravado that earns the contempt of Cristina (Sandra Oh). Elsewhere, the newborn quintuplets and their mother (Margaret Welsh) are suffering serious post-natal problems, with one of the infants close to death. As Izzie (Katherine Heigl) cares for the ailing child, Addison (Kate Walsh) decides that it is time to teach the idealistic intern a painful but necessary lesson. Also, Alex (Justin Chambers) broods obessessively over a medical mistake, which only serves to make Izzie (Katherine Heigl) even more angry with him; and under pressure, George (T.R. The retired patriarch of a New York-based Chinese-American family finds that escaping the insanity of his decidedly dysfunctional clan is more difficult than he anticipated in a thoughtful family drama from writer/director Georgia Lee. There was a time when the Wong's were happy, but time has a strange way of transforming relationships and now all that Ed Wong (Tzi Ma) can see in his family is frustration and rebellion. Though he longs to flee to the calming confines of an upstate Buddhist monastery, Ed is about to find out just how the actions of his three mischievous daughters can throw his outwardly perfect plan for the future into question. As his well-heeled oldest daughter Samantha (Jacqueline Kim) reevaluates her love life and professional career while preparing for an upcoming wedding, middle daughter Julie (Elaine Kao) strives to improve the failing social life that has taken a back seat to her demanding schedule as a medical student, and youngest daughter Katie (Kathy Shao-lin Lee) enters into an increasingly dangerous prank war with longtime neighbor and determined nemesis Simon. Though a look back at the family's old home movies offer Ed a nostalgic glimpse into a happier time when the Wong's were actually able to communicate their feelings to one and other, the dejected father soon discovers that the stories and images from the past may provide new hope for the future as well. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
