Two sets of crooks and one reluctant hero square off in this blend of comedy and action. Tripp (Patrick Dempsey) has been trying to catch the eye of pretty bank teller Kaitlin (Ashley Judd), and he thinks he's come up with just the thing to get himself noticed -- he shows up just as the bank is about to close for the day and asks her to break a hundred-dollar bill into loose change. But Tripp's attempt to meet cute goes wrong when two different sets of thieves invade the bank at the same time. Three are savvy criminals (Mekhi Phifer, Matt Ryan, and John Ventimiglia) who have carefully worked out a plan for clearing out the vault, while the other two (Tim Blake Nelson and Pruitt Taylor Vance) are half-bright rednecks who intend to crack open the ATM machines and take the cash inside. Before long, both teams of crooks are trapped in the bank and find themselves constantly in each other's way, while Tripp is trying to find a way to protect Kaitlin and himself while foiling the robbers, though the fact he's delusional and has stopped taking his medication is making things rather complicated. Flypaper was written by Scott Moore and Jon Lucas, who penned the script years before they enjoyed their commercial breakthrough with The Hangover. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

The horror begins when telekinetic twins Seth (Gary Entin) and Jonah Trimble (Edmund Entin) use their powers to kill a handful of popular classmates by forcing them to play an involuntary game of Russian roulette. As their gruesome rampage intensifies, tormented Detective Lampkin (Orlando Jones) launches a detailed investigation into the murders that quickly points to the twins as the prime suspects. When Detective Lampkin's investigations stalls out due to a frustrating lack of evidence, his lingering grief over losing his wife in a tragic house fire that left him horribly burned finds him sinking into a deep depression. Meanwhile, the sudden appearance of pretty new student Eve (Samantha Droke) begins to drive a psychic wedge between the twins as her presence begins distracting them from the mysterious video "project" they've been working on. After Detective Lampkin witnesses a gruesome "accident" involving Seth and Jonah, he delves into their background and makes a shocking discovery. In this erotic sci-fi adventure, the men of the starship Prometheus are pleasantly surprised when they learn of their latest assignment. They are scheduled to make a delivery to a planet far away -- a cargo of several beautiful females to be bartered as brides. However, with a number of lovely women on board, the crew is sorely tempted to take them as their own rather than delivering them to their assigned port of call, even though that would be a clear violation of ethics (not to mention an easy way to make the boss angry). ~ Mark Deming, Rovi
