Based on actual events which occurred aboard the "USS Constitution", this made-for-cable movie begins as young Maddie Nolan (Hayden Panettiere) boards the Naval carrier under the command of her father Gary (Bill Pullman). Maddie is participating in a traditional "tiger cruise", wherein the family members of Naval personnel are invited to join the men and women in uniform during a typical days of maneuvers. Unlike her fellow passengers, however, Maddie has an ulterior motive: Weary of being a "Navy brat" who has spent her childhood moving from one base to another, she is hoping to persuade her father to give up the service and settle down in one place. But on the third day at sea, Commander Dolan's carrier is ordered to assume "combat mode": the date is September 11, 2001, and America is under attack! Throughout his life, physics professor Zach Shefford (Grayson McCouch) has regarded his telekinetic gifts as a curse rather than a blessing. This sentiment is obviously not shared by ruthless Pentagon agent Raymond Addison (Louis Gossett Jr.), who recruits Shefford for a dangerous mission in which his "second sight" talents will be taxed to the utmost. It seems that, back in 1977, Addison had overseen Project Momentum, wherein dozens of telekinetics were brought together ostensibly for the purpose of benefiting mankind. But the project got out of hand when the participants' powers became too powerful and deadly, forcing Addison to kill them all. However, one of the participants, Adrian Geiger (Michael Massee), managed to escape, and is now at large, with a vast telekinetic army at his beck and call. It is Shefford's job to infiltrate Geiger's camp and finish the job that Shefford had started. Upon falling in love with fellow telekinetic Tristen (Nicki Aycox), Shefford finds that his loyalties are wavering -- and begins to suspect that the villains in this particular melodrama may in fact be the heroes, and vice versa. The title of this ABC cop series referred to the patrol-car code used to indicate that said car was "in service." The central character was Rico Amonte (Danny Nucci), a former Brooklyn street punk who after relocating to Los Angeles opted to work on the right side of the law. A deputy trainee with the LAPD robbery-homicide division, Rico was assigned to irascible, South Central-born Senior Deputy John Henry Barnes (Ernie Hudson). It perhaps goes without saying that there was little love lost between the no-nonsense Barnes and the wisecracking Rico, but this odd-couple duo managed to do their job well and get the best results. In the fine tradition of the old series The Rookies, several other trainees were placed under the tender care of Deputy Barnes: would-be Romeo Matt Jablonski (Scott William Winters) and his partner, ghetto-raised Gabriella Lopez (Mercedes Colon); and bookish, politically ambitious Chase Williams (Travis Schuldt) and his partner, tough cookie Anna Li (Christina Vidal). 10-8 premiered on September 28, 2003. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

Although DrugCo employee Lewis (Ryan Stiles) tries to safely dispose of an experimental "sex drug", by a circuitous route the mixture is accidentally dumped into the green dye being prepared for Buzz Beer's St. Patrick's Day promotion. At the same time, Drew (Drew Carey) is summoned to testify on Mr. Wick's behalf in the sexual-harrassment trial spearheaded by Mimi (Kathy Kinney). Unfortunately, just prior to his appearance before the judge, Drew partakes heavily of the potent green-tinted beer, leading to a wild coutroom climax--and that last word is used advisedly! ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
