With his self-reflexive documentary Indestructible, director Ben Byer - a victim of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig's disease - films his own emotional and spiritual journey-of-self-discovery (and physical deterioration) as he searches, in vain, for an ALS cure before the window closes on his life. This almost painfully intimate and revealing film finds single father Byer faced with an estimated lifespan of between 2-5 years. He then makes a long, desperate journey to Greece and China, where he will undergo an innovative procedure that he hopes will end the disease once and for all. Byer then returns home to be with his son, and rapidly arrives at the conclusion that the treatment has failed. Throughout it all, Byer exudes an ebullient and celebratory attitude, and experiences a series of unspeakable joys and sorrows, carrying the audience along with him. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi

This episode introduces Nicole Bilderback as Blin, Max and Zack's genetically engineered "sister" from Manticore. As it turns out, however, Lydecker is not the culprit -- and Max and Zack are forced to work together with their enemy to save Brin from being chopped up and sold as parts. Alas, one of the trio makes a false move which plunges everyone into the direst jeopardy. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

The scene is a offworld military camp, where young warriors are trained to impersonate Stargate Command personnel, then sent to infiltrate earth. Captain Rogers (Aaron Craven), head of the camp, assumes that the SG-1 team are new recruits, and drills them to be lean mean fighting machines on behalf of the dreaded Goa'uld. In an effort to save his comrades--and, by extension, the earth--O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) must convince the other trainees that their noble mission is both futile and wrong. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
