A reluctant Hercules (Kevin Sorbo) agrees to pose nude for a metal statue in exchange for a donation to the war orphan's fund. It is lovestruck female blacksmith Atalanta (Cory Everson) who forges the statue, wishing that it were the real thing. Her wish comes true -- disastrously -- when war god Ares' handmaid Discord (Meighan Desmond) brings the statue to life. Hercules (Kevin Sorbo) offers to help the revived mummy of Prince Ishtar (Mark Newnham) to locate his descendant, Princess Anuket (Galyn Gorg). Meanwhile, villainous high priest Sokar (John Watson) has gotten hold of Ishtar's golden pendant, with which he hopes to gain complete control of Egypt. Hercules (Kevin Sorbo) takes on a rampaging Cyclops (Richard Moll) who is seemingly in cahoots with our hero's treacherous stepmother, the goddess Hera. Along the way, Hercules picks up a traveling companion in the form of shabby traveling salesman Salmoneus (Robert Trebor).
