Rosario Dawson and Justin Hartley star in a series of fifty web shorts set in the not-too-distant future, and tracing the war between a race of artificial life forms dubbed "Simulant" and the covert agency charged with eliminating them at all costs. Anna Diaz (Dawson) is an undercover NYPD vice cop who was attempting to solve the mystery of her fiancee's murder when she became drawn into the top-secret war between man and machine. As an undercover vice cop, Diaz was always reluctant to let down her guard with strangers. But there was something different about Nick Korda (Hartley that made Anna feel as if she could trust him from the very moment they first met. Perhaps it was the fact that Nick swept Anna off to Paris and asked for her hand in marriage that made him seem too good to be true. Anna was still attempting to discover if Nick was truly the man she believed him to be when he was suddenly murdered right before her eyes. The Blair Witch Project co-director Daniel Myrick returns to the helm to tell this tale of two paramedics kidnapped and held hostage by a mysterious cult. David Vaughn and Victor Hernandez were on the road when they received a call about a young girl whose mother has lost consciousness. Upon arriving at the remote area to administer treatment, however, both paramedics are kidnapped and confined in an isolated building. David is determined to discover the true motivation of the cult that now controls his destiny, while Victor suddenly finds his entire belief system crumbling as the fine line between religion and science is inexorably crossed. A car wreck causes the lives of 15 strangers to unexpectedly collide in this independent comedy drama. It's Father's Day, and Ted (William Forsythe) is out on the road with his 19-year-old son Josh (Dan Byrd). When Josh slams on the brakes to avoid hitting a dog along a two-lane highway in the country, his car is rear-ended by Lorraine (Marianne Jean-Baptiste), a cellist en route to a gig. Josh's car hits a telephone pole which soon blocks the road, and a traffic jam results. Among the folks waiting for the road to clear are Lilac (Gina Torres) and her lesbian girlfriend Rose (Mariah O'Brien), who is about to have a baby and needs medical help. Jerry (David DeLuise) and Curt (Christopher Amitrano) are a pair of half-bright rednecks who have stolen an ATM machine and are trying to figure out how to liberate the cash from it when they're enlisted to help Rose have her child. Divorcé Dale (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is spending the day with his kids Robert (Skyler Gisondo) and Brianna (Marissa Blanchard), but he isn't sure how to break the news he'll soon be moving away and won't see them very often. Gary (Jonathan Silverman) and Judy (Julie Claire) are a bickering yuppie couple at odds over the fact they haven't been able to have a baby. Amy (Amanda Detmer) is on her way to her wedding, and her friends Stephanie (Amanda Foreman) and Jen (Elizabeth Bogush) are there to lend support, but Amy is having second thoughts and Stephanie knows something that would have a very serious effect on the nuptials. The dirty laundry of the wealthy and oversexed gets yet another airing in this prime-time soap opera from producer Aaron Spelling. Richard Williams (Perry King) is a tough-as-nails businessman who single-handedly built his aviation business into a powerful multinational conglomerate. Richard is engaged to marry Heather (Yasmine Bleeth), a manipulative woman who only recently had an affair with Chandler (Casper Van Dien), Richard's son. Chandler isn't sure what he should tell his father about Heather, especially when he learns Heather is pregnant. Elsewhere in the family, Peter (John Barrowman) oversees the Williams family's finances, Jenny (Elizabeth Bogush) tries to keep her drinking problem in check (with mixed results), Laurie (Josie Davis) operates a nightclub and keeps her poisoned pen sharpened at all times, and Richard's former wife Gwen (Victoria Principal) observes the action from her bungalow across the street from his Beverly Hills estate. In the midst of all this, Samantha (Lourdes Benedicto), daughter of the family's housekeeper, works for the Williams and keeps track of their many peccadilloes, while also carrying a torch for Chandler (and wishing Heather would dry up and blow away).
