A devoutly religious college student seeking to escape her roommate and make a little extra cash becomes the target of a disfigured serial killer who stalks his helpless prey from outside of darkened rural windows. Having recently struck out on her own and found, Angie is eager to begin life away from her overbearing Catholic mother and support herself with a suitable job. One day, while passing by a campus bulletin board, Angie notices an ad for a babysitter and contacts the family to see if the position is still open. Before Angie knows it, she's arriving at the Stanton family's scenic farm and being introduced to their adorable little boy. Her job is simple: watch after the sleeping boy until his parents return. But the Stanton's house is enormous, and it isn't long before Angie is at the mercy of her own fears. Suddenly, the serine country silence is broken by the ringing telephone. But who is the anonymous caller on the other end? As if the frightening telephone calls weren't enough to shred Angie's nerves, now there's a mysterious figure lurking around in the darkness outside. There's a killer stalking this small town, and it doesn't take Angie long to realize that the same person who's peering in at her through the window is likely the same creep who's been butchering the local girls for months. Receiving an ominous warning from a very reliable source about Barbas' impending return, the Halliwell sisters prepare to do battle against the demon -- while Prue (Shannen Doherty) struggles to overcome an inner demon of her own making. Even with all this activity, Piper (Holly Marie Combs) finds time to inaugurate another romance (or at least, attempt to do so), while Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) again has trouble adjusting to a new job -- and this one is very important, not only to her but to her sisters. ~ Rovi

A man becomes the unwitting last barrier between terrorists and nuclear holocaust in this action thriller. Rod Armstrong (Frank Zagarino) is a former Navy SEAL who travels to Moscow with his old friend Bob (Charles Napier) and Bob's wife Susan (Kimberly Kates) on a vacation. However, Armstrong soon discovers fun and games is not the first thing Bob and Susan have in mind; it seems that the happy couple is also working with U.S. Intelligence, and they've been sent to Russia to crack open a ring of illegal arms dealers selling stolen nuclear weapons to terrorists with cash in hand. However, shortly after Bob reveals this secret to Armstrong, he is killed. Now Armstrong and Susan are on the run from the Russians as they try to find the kingpin and bring him to justice before terrorists with nuclear weapons can destroy the world. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

A wealthy Beverly Hills husband and wife are forced to reevaluate their lives after losing their jobs in writer-director Michael Tolkin's aloof satire. Peter Witner (Peter Weller) and Katherine Witner (Judy Davis) have become so accustomed to their high-class, shallow lifestyle that they feel helpless when circumstances leave them facing imminent bankruptcy. Lost and confused, their marriage on the verge of collapse, they seek help from a number of spiritual gurus, who offer ineffectual New Age philosophies as the solution to their problems. These remedies provide little comfort, however, and the Witners' attempt to make their own way by opening a hip clothing store also disappoints, leaving them ostracized and desperate for a direction in life. Best known for the cutting screenplay of Robert Altman's The Player (1992) and for his own earlier film The Rapture (1991), Tolkin provides sharp dialogue and a well-observed critique of the Los Angeles high life. This film continues the social criticism of those earlier efforts, as Tolkin consistently portrays American life as mindlessly materialistic, spiritually hollow, and bereft of meaningful purpose or moral direction. While some viewers may feel distanced from the unsympathetic characters and detached tone, Tolkin continues to be one of the most trenchant social satirists in contemporary American movies. ~ Judd Blaise, Rovi

Policeman-turned-trucker Travis Blackstone (Lorenzo Lamas) is forced to use almost all of his exceptional martial arts skills after his screw-up brother Franklin (Hank Cheyne) begs him to return a fortune in embezzled money from the ruthless Mr. Chang's (Joe Son) money-laundering bank. The hard-driving, ham-fisted action begins when Travis learns that while Franklin claims he only swiped a few hundred thousand bucks, in reality his brother siphoned off five million and invested it in a bogus real estate operation. The decoy money is stashed in a trash can, but before Travis can get it, his own girlfriend sells out to Chang who immediately sets off for bloody revenge. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi

Ten years after the original Chained Heat (1983), this follow-up appeared, more of a remake than a sequel to the first film. Kimberley Kates stars as Alex Morrison, an American tourist in Prague, Czechoslovakia, who is unjustly arrested and incarcerated at Razik Prison. There, the bodacious, drug-addicted warden Magda Kassar (Brigitte Nielsen) rules with an iron fist and the help of her sadistic assistant, Rosa Schmidt (Jana Svandova), a prisoner who has become a trustee. It seems that Magda and Rosa have set up the beautiful Alex, the latest in a long line of physically attractive women they've ensnared at the prison for use as unwilling prostitutes at a nearby casino and as actresses in cheap porn films. While Alex befriends a fellow newcomer, Tina (Lucie Benes) and a transvestite named Bobo (David Buonantony), her sister Susan (Kari Whitman) attempts to get help on the outside from an American diplomat. ~ Karl Williams, Rovi

In this suspenseful thriller, lonely young women subscribe to "The Dream Date Video Club" and end up going out to their deaths, all of which are captured on video tape.
