The original hitman of paintball returns to reclaim his rightful crown in the one comedy that proves you're never too old for a killer comeback. Everyone knows that the name Bobby Dukes (Rob Corddry) is synonymous with the game of paintball, and when the teenaged Dukes led his team, the River Rats, to three consecutive wins at the East Coast's legendary Hudson Valley Paintball Classic, it appeared as if the game was finally about to break big due in no small part to Dukes' dead-eye aim and easygoing charisma. It was that fateful attempt at a fourth win that ultimately derailed Dukes' career as a triggerman, though, and after being shot during one of his signature moves, the three-time champion committed one of the most heinous acts in all of paintball -- wiping. Spotted by a keen-eyed referee and subsequently ejected for his attempts to cover up the telltale stain, Dukes' was devastated to become the laughing stock of the paintball community. A overgrown mama's boy who hasn't found the courage to take flight from the nest gets a little help from the girl of his dreams in the one comedy that proves it's never to late to strike out on your own. His desperate parents have had enough, though, and after years of gentle nudging they soon realize that it's going to take a concerted effort to get Tripp out and enjoy their twilight years in peace. Meanwhile, harried Vice Principal Tom Willoman (Biggs) has little choice but to stand aside and watch as both his life and career slowly circle the drain. Enter Rebecca Seabrook (Longoria Parker) -- the smoking-hot district inspector assigned the thankless task of shutting down Geraldine Ferraro Elementary once and for all. Taking note of the reckless corruption displayed by morally handicapped Principal Billings (Corddry), Rebecca schemes with Vice Principal Willoman to take back the classrooms and give the kids a fair shot at getting a proper education. But ever since he suffered an undisclosed tragedy, Vice Principal Willoman has been rendered a total milquetoast. Can Willoman summon the fortitude needed to help Rebecca whip Geraldine Ferraro Elementary back into shape, or has the damage inflicted during the embarrassing Billings administration already locked the school into an irreversible nosedive of epic buffoonery? Penned by Old School scribe Scot Armstrong, Semi-Pro tells the tale of a 1970s-era basketball player who doesn't have much luck in the NBA, but vows to leave his mark on the sport by coaching the Flint Tropics. When the upstart ABA league agrees to be absorbed by the NBA, only four teams will be allowed in. Jackie Moon (Ferrell) must orchestrate a successful season both on the court, and financially off the court with the help of many odd promotional events, in order to remain in the sport he loves. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

When 40-year-old San Francisco bachelor Eddie Cantrow (Ben Stiller) attends the wedding of his ex-fiancée -- and is seated at a "singles table" full of children -- he realizes maybe he's been too picky in his love life, and it's time to settle down. Fortunately, he doesn't have to compromise his standards when he meets Lila (Malin Akerman), a funny, attractive blond who does environmental research for a living. Lila's company wants to relocate her to Europe, but only because she's single -- they don't force married couples to uproot themselves. So Eddie hastily proposes to her, even though they've only been dating for six weeks. But the moment they exchange vows, Eddie starts to notice Lila's rough edges and annoying habits, which had remained hidden underneath her perfect exterior. Their Cabo San Lucas honeymoon gets off to a rough start full of tuneless pop singalongs and surprising revelations about Lila's job and her past. Things only get worse for a confused Eddie when he meets Miranda (Michelle Monaghan), a Midwesterner in Cabo for a family reunion -- and starts to wish he'd held out just a little bit longer. Created by Seth MacFarlane of Family Guy and American Dad fame, the weekly Fox comedy series The Winner was a remake of the 2002 movie Becoming Glen. The TV version was essentially extended flashback, recalled in "the present" by 43-year-old Buffalo resident Glen Abbott (played by former Daily Show contributor Rob Corddry). The action took place in 1994, when Glen was a 32-year-old virgin hypochondriac, still living at home with his parents Irene (Linda Hart) and Ron (Lenny Clarke). Most of the stories revolved around Glen's relationship with former girl-next-door Alison (Erinn Hayes), who'd returned to Buffalo a single mom with her 12-year-old son Keir (Josh Miller)--who, curiously, looked and behaved just like Glen--in tow. Throughout the series, the viewer was forearmed with the knowledge that, twelve years or so later, Glen Abbott would be a billionaire enterpreneur. . .though precious few clues were given as to how this metamorphosis would come about! The Winner debuted March 4, 2007, as a companion piece for Seth MacFarlane's animated Sunday-night offerings. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

A handful of kids stranded without their parents is determined to make the most of a bad situation in this comedy. It's Christmas Eve, and Oliver Porter (Lewis Black), the passenger relations manager at a busy airport in the Midwest, is looking forward to spending Christmas in Hawaii with his wife after 15 years in a row working on the busy Yuletide holiday. However, fate conspires against him when a massive snowstorm sweeps in and all flights are canceled. Porter suddenly has to deal with a number of stranded passengers, including six tween-age kids who are each flying unaccompanied from one divorced parent to another -- spoiled little rich girl Grace (Gina Mantegna), geeky but likable Spencer (Dyllan Christopher), his pesky little sister Katy (Dominique Saldana), plus-size comic book fan Beef (Brett Kelly), grumpy tomboy Donna (Quinn Shephard), and bright but mischievous Charlie (Tyler James Williams). With his hands full and determined to make his way to the islands, Porter puts his assistant Zach Van Bourke (Wilmer Valderrama) in charge of the kids. Zach doesn't care for this assignment and the kids don't care for him, and before long they've escaped from the basement conference room where he's stashed them and turned the airport into their playground. Two strangers (Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher) find themselves hitched after a wild night of Las Vegas shenanigans in this 20th Century Fox comedy. Jack Fuller (Kutcher) is a single Manhattanite who can never quite commit to a permanent, long-term relationship and repeatedly hears from his lovers that he "isn't serious boyfriend material." Employed by his father (Treat Williams) at a local furniture business, Jack spends his workdays goofing off by watching sporting events behind dad's back. Joy McNally (Diaz) is faring slightly better; a young, polished urbanite, she juggles a demanding job as a trader on the NYSE with a marital engagement to the impressive Mason (Jason Sudeikis), but has modified her entire life and all of her interests to please her intended.

Coincident with Mr. Fuller's decision to fire his son, Mason severs his engagement to Joy; as a result, both Jack and Joy hit the skids at around the same time and decide to cut their losses by heading out to Vegas. The two accidentally bump into one another when a computer mix-up at the hotel puts them in adjoining rooms; though they begin their acquaintanceship by bickering endlessly, they end up spending a long, drunken night on the town together, and when the sun rises and Joy comes to, she discovers that she unwittingly married Jack in the middle of the night. Alas, just when the two are about to call it quits by filing for divorce after the shortest marriage in history, Jack tosses a coin into a Vegas slot machine and hits a three-million-dollar jackpot -- which naturally pits the newlyweds against one another in an attempt to claim the full share of the money. A conservative local judge, R.D. Whopper (Dennis Miller), then adds the final twist by refusing to grant a divorce until Joy and Jack have given married life a fair shake. In time, the marrieds may just discover that this union isn't as far off the mark as they initially thought.
