India-born actress Anna Kashfi had a brief Hollywood film career in the mid to late 1950s. She was usually cast as an exotic beauty. In 1957, Kashfi gained notoriety for marrying Marlon Brando. It was a tumultuous unhappy union that fell apart in 1960. Kashfi made her screen comeback in 1979 with The Violent Women.
