Sipowicz (Dennis Franz) and Simone's (Jimmy Smits) investigation of a limo driver's murder leads to a vice ring. Henry (Willie Garson), the nephew of the woman from whom Simone inherited an apartment building, finally reveals what he knows about a murder that occurred just outside the building. Diane (Kim Delaney) has trouble explaining to Simone that she has been assigned to get the goods on handsome hoodlum Jimmy Liery. The sexually promiscuous Geri (Debra Christofferson) is "kicked upstairs." Mel Brooks does it again with this send-up of vampire films. That Leslie Nielson plays the great blood-sucking count gives viewers a good idea as to what they are in for. This Dracula takes himself very seriously despite the fact that he's a bit of a klutz with a tendency to slip in the bat guano that adorns his castle floor. Staying very close to Bram Stoker's original story, Brooks also pays sly homage to other major vampire film classics, including Nosferatu. Though silly but subtle gags abound in this outing, Brooks has taken great care to recreate the late 19th-century atmosphere in rich detail and harkens back to Hammer horror movies popular during the '50s and '60s. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi

Justine Miceli (Det. Adrianne Lesniak) and Kim Delaney (Det. Diane Russell) graduate from recurring to regular status as NYPD Blue begins its third season. Things get off to a potentially lethal start as James Martinez (Nicholas Turturro) is shot down and left paralyzed -- possibly for life -- by a government witness who may be completely immune from prosecution. Diane tells her AA sponsor, Andy Sipowicz (Dennis Franz), that she's recovering from her drinking problem, potentially good news for her boyfriend, Bobby Simone (Jimmy Smits).
