Bo Derek is decidedly cast against type as Miss James, a kinky college psychology teacher who challenges her students to write a term paper on "what scares you." Budding criminologist Carl (Scott Rinker) lobbies for an "A" by helping Miss James research her book on an infamous serial killer, who in Se7en fashion "harvested" his victims and killed them one by one--then was freed from prison on a technicality. When Miss James' more troublesome student begin disappearing with alarming regularity, nominal hero Carl begins to wonder if history is repeating itself. But is the aforementioned killer responsible, or is someone else the culprit? Chuck Norris stars in this made-for-TV thriller as Joshua McCord, a Presidential secret agent. Though still quite virile and limber, McCord feels that he is getting too old for his job, thus he begins training a younger man named Deke Slater (Dylan Neal) as his replacement, using Zen and proper nutrition as primary teachings tools. But McCord springs back into action -- and kicks plenty of serious butt in the process -- when the First Lady is kidnapped by a terrorist organization. The parents of a healthy baby boy, Brian and Donna McDermott (Scott Reeves, Martha Byrne) are stunned and grief-stricken when the child vanishes. Making matters worse, the authorities are convinced that Brian and Donna are themselves responsible for their baby's disappearance. Perhaps those same authorities would be better served if they bothered to check out those somewhat shady employees at the local maternity hospital, notably duplicitous receptionist Joan Hollins (Cathy Lee Crosby) -- who in turn is very close with the attorney (Linda Gray) who represents an adoption services that provides newborn white infants to infertile couples...no questions asked. Forbidden love between a beautiful orphan and an eligible upper-class bachelor sparks jealousy and deceit in the family that took her in as a child in this period drama from director Bobby Roth. As a child, Edith Adelon (Cari Shayne) was taken in by the wealthy Henry Hamilton (Tom Conti) so that she could live at the lavish Evanswood Estate and serve as a paid companion to Henry's lonesome daughter Amy (Brigitta Dau). Over the years, Amy and Edith grow to become the best of friends and most personal of confidantes, though everything changes when a trio of visitors arrive to attend the annual Greens Cup horse race and Beatrice Hamilton (Meredith Baxter) enlists Edith's help in choosing an marriageable suitor for cousin Ida Glenshaw (Brigid Brannagh). No sooner has unsuccessful artist Darcy Palmer (Tracey Gold) met music student Brianne Dwyer (Mireille Enos) at an airport than she murders Brianne, stuffs her body in her trunk, and assumes her identity! Entering a prestigious New Hampshire University on the late Brianne's scholarship, Darcy is subsequently introduced to widowed art collector Russell Polk (Perry King), the father of her roommate, Jeanelle (Shawnee Smith). Within what seems like ten minutes, Darcy and Russell have fallen in love, and her future in the rarefied world of art seems assured. Then, without warning, Darcy's web of deceit begins to unravel thanks to a pair of "ghosts" from her past. Clearly, there is no other alternative for Darcy than to start killing people again -- just as she has done so many times in the past in her many previous stolen identities.
