Frequent television director Brad Silberling directs the romantic drama Moonlight Mile. Set in a Massachusetts town in the early '70s, Joe Nast (Jake Gyllenhaal) is distraught after the death of his fiancée. He moves in with her parents, Ben (Dustin Hoffman) and JoJo (Susan Sarandon), while trying to sort out all of the legal troubles and painful details of the wedding cancellations. While trying to locate the wedding invitations in the mail, Joe meets Bertie (Ellen Pompeo), whose boyfriend has been MIA in Vietnam. Despite his growing relationship with his late fiancée's parents, Joe begins to foster a romance with Bertie. Also starring Dabney Coleman and Holly Hunter. The obsessions of two disturbed people cross paths in this thriller, created with the interactivity of the DVD format in mind. Jane (Stephanie Von Pfetten) is a beautiful but neurotic artist who keeps her distance from others, preferring to deal with the outside world through her work. When Jane moves to a new city, she finds herself becoming increasingly obsessed with Frank (Chris Bradford), a handsome musician who's apartment is across the alley from her loft. Jane begins creating increasingly sexual paintings and drawings of Peter and herself, and in time decides she should meet him. However, an attempt to arrange a date through personal ads puts Jane in contact with Peter (Paul Jarrett), a strange man with an unpleasant past. However, police detective Edwards (Christopher Shyer) has his eye on Jane as well, since it seems her own past is significantly more troubling than she lets on. Director David Wheeler created the DVD edition of Point of View to explore the interactive possibilities of the format. Each chapter ends with a quiz that allows the moods and attitudes of the viewer to shape the story and a number of plot points can be shifted by inputting different information, and, as a result, a great number of different versions of the film can be assembled by the viewer. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

A damaged ship belonging to the powerful, pacifistic Nebari race is brought aboard Moya for repairs. One of the passengers is the infamous Captain Durka (David Wheeler), who had earlier overseen the fiendish torture of Rygel (Jonathan Hardy), but who now claims to be totally purged of his evil ways. Another passenger is the criminal Chiana, who falls under suspicion when her Nebari captor is murdered -- a killing that also causes the "reformed" Durka to revert to his nasty old self. During their efforts to salvage the wreckage of infamous PeaceKeeper vessel Zelbinon, Moya's crew members come across the abandoned PK technician Gilina (Alyssa-Jane Cook). Aeryn (Claudia Black) experience the pangs of jealousy when Gilina evinces fondness for Crichton (Ben Browder)--But this dilemma is minor compared to the greater threat of the Sheyang scavenger team which hopes to claim Zelbinon for itself. Meanwhile, Rygel (Jonathan Hardy) experiences hellish flashbacks of the torture he endured at the hands of Zelbinon's Captain Durka (David Wheeler).
