Greek actor Alexis Georgoulis gained particular notoriety when he participated in the Greek TV show Are You My Mate? Originally a student of engineering, Georgoulis caught the acting bug in college and switched career paths. Georgia (Nia Vardalos) came to Greece to follow a man. A few years later, she's been cast aside -- alone and adrift in a foreign land. Eventually, her passion for history leads her to a job as a tour guide. But Georgia is bored, and has lost her "kefi" (Greek for mojo) to boot. When taciturn sasquatch Poupi (Alexis Georgoulis) replaces the regular driver at the last minute, the frazzled tour guide thinks that her luck has just hit rock bottom. Thankfully, Georgia's latest batch of tourists is a more lively bunch than she's anticipated, and in between bouts with rival tour guide Nico (Alistair McGowan), she manages to form a genuine connection with wisecracking widower Irv (Richard Dreyfuss), a solo vacationer who maintains a jovial facade despite the fact that he misses his late wife dearly. A small Greek community becomes the center of a storm of sexual and financial double-dealing in this adult comedy. Magda (Nena Mendi) and her husband (Alexandros Antonopoulos) are the parents of two adult children -- handsome son Christos (Yannis Tsimitselis), who is studying at the local college, and less attractive daughter Giota (Jeannie Papadopoulou). Giota, who still lives in the family home, is married to Stelios (Alexis Georgoulis), while Christos has a significantly more interesting love life -- while he has a girlfriend, Christos is also enjoying clandestine affairs with both his chemistry professor from school, Vicky (Maria Kavoyianni), and her spouse, Yorgos (Akylas Karazisis), a powerful local real estate developer. Giota and Stelios are keen on Magda selling some property she owns, which Yorgos wants to use for a fast-food franchise. This sale could mean a major windfall for the family, but Magda doesn't want to part with her land, which has been owned by her people for years and has great meaning for her. Stelios has learned about Christos' relationship with Yorgos, and he attempts to use this knowledge to extort Christos into helping change Magda's mind. But Stelios doesn't know that Christos has some ideas of his own about what makes for the best use of the land. Greek documentary filmmaker Laya Giourrgou directs the black comedy Too Late Tomorrow. Criminal Antonis (Alexis Georgoulis) is given a two-day leave from prison to attend a funeral. He ends up meeting prostitute Olia (Marina Kaloyirou) and taking off with her in a stolen car along with his younger brother Sifis (Odysseas Papaspiliopoulos).
