This routine wartime drama is set at sea and involves a British convoy trying to elude a group of German U-Boats. After one of the U-Boats is singled out and captured, the British admiral in charge of the current operation hits upon an ingenious but almost suicidal way of defeating the Nazi boats. He orders Lt. Commander Tarlton (Edward Judd) and a group of men to get in the captured U-Boat and then join the other U-Boats as though they had simply wandered off course for awhile. If done quickly and efficiently, Tarlton should be able to radio back the position of the enemy for a fast British offensive. Not an easy task in itself, and made much worse considering that the RAF and other British ships are going to consider the decoy U-Boat to be the enemy. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi

In this confusing drama, the IRA, intrigue, psychiatric analysis, and a young man framed for murder are thrown together in a series of events that were perhaps originally intended to highlight the psychological aspects of the case under study. One night, eighteen-year-old Harry Jukes (British rock 'n roller Adam Faith in his first dramatic role) is driving down a deserted country road when he gets a flat tire. A policeman stops to help him out when a truck drives by, and the next thing Harry knows, the policeman is lying dead on the road and Harry is literally holding a smoking gun in his hand. From there to his arrest and trial is a brief hop, skip, and then a jump into prison to await his execution. Vacationing in Greece, Steed is asked to investigate the death of a deep-sea diver, a member of an elite corps known as the Frogs. Suspecting that the victim was murdered by one of the passengers on a Mediterranean ocean liner, Steed secretes himself aboard the vessel, where his off-and-on partner Venus Smith (Julie Stevens) is working as an entertainer. Though there's no shortage of suspects, the guilty party is fairly obvious from the get-go. The mysterious Indian jungle provides the setting for this adventure where a one-legged hunter pursues a terrifying tiger, a man-eater. On the hunt, the man encounters the cowardly fellow who caused him to lose his leg in a POW camp. Together they face the snarling, cornered jungle cat. Again, the fellow chickens out, resulting in the near-fatal mauling of the hunter. Later, the coward's wife helps the battered hunter recuperate. As she ministers to him, the hunter can't help but fall in love with her. He begins to drink heavily. He stops when he learns that the coward's son has wandered off into the dangerous jungle.
