Daniel Baldwin is the third eldest child of six, four of whom are star actors (all the boys of the family, oddly enough). He attended Ball State University for about a year, planning to study psychology. He left school and began to work as a stand-up comedian before starting acting in 1988. A hunt for biochemical terrorists gets a supernatural twist as a band of heroic soldiers stumble into a mine inhabited by angry spirits in Walter von Huene's unusual hybrid action entry. Special Forces captain Aldo Paccione (Franco Columbu) has never found a mission too dangerous to tackle, and when the government discovers that a rouge group of mercenaries are developing biochemical weapons deep in the mines of Sardinia, he assembles a crack Delta Force team to move in and eliminate the threat. Some six months after the cancellation of the popular, hard-hitting TV cop series Homicide, most of the cast members were reunited for a two-hour TV movie, which deftly (and somewhat surprisingly) combines stark, raw realism with Sartre-esque flights of fantasy. Several members past and present of the Baltimore Police Department's homicide squad are brought back together when their former skipper and current mayoral candidate, Al "G" Giardelli (Yaphet Kotto), is gunned down by a would-be assassin. As former partners Frank Pembleton (Andre Braugher) and Tim Bayliss (Kyle Secor) conduct their own personal search for the perpetrator, the comatose "G" discovers that not all police review boards are conducted by the living. Like its weekly predecessor, Homicide: The Movie was co-produced by Baltimore native Barry Levinson. An SAS agent (Daniel Baldwin) has been assigned to escort a ruthless jewel thief (Kim Coates) to custody by train when they discover a tunnel along the route has been seized by a gang of terrorists. With the tunnel sealed at both ends and the train trapped inside, the two men have to set aside their differences in order to rescue themselves and the rest of the passengers. Daniel Baldwin made his directorial debut with this feature, which blends dark comedy into an action-packed crime thriller. Jeremy (Michael Madsen) is a Mob lieutenant whose brother-in-law (Joe Mantegna) is an FBI agent. When a crackdown on organized crime threatens to put Jeremy behind bars, his brother-in-law arranges for him to become an FBI informant and enter the Witness Protection Program. What the FBI doesn't know is that Jeremy's boss is aware of his plans, and he sends two strong-arm men (Daniel Baldwin and Chad McQueen) to find Jeremy and bring him back -- or kill him if he's already told the Feds too much. Paul finds himself the key suspect in the police's investigation of the crimes, and Paul is forced to come to terms with a disturbing incident from his past that links him to the killer. When the powers that be at Silicon Towers learn of Charlie's inside knowledge, the corporate security force is unleashed to track him down. Charlie is thus forced to run for his life, while attempting to unveil the scam to the authorities. A soldier sets out on a mission of mercy only to discover he's a pawn in a deadly game in this action thriller from cult hero Fred Olen Ray. Veteran U.S. Air Force pilot Murphy (Daniel Baldwin) and his superior, Captain Reynolds (Fred Williamson), are kidnapped by members of a Central American drug cartel as they escort an American congressmen traveling abroad. Murphy and Reynolds are able to signal for help, and a squadron frees the captured soldiers, but Rifkin (Hannes Jaenicke), Murphy's friend and comrade, goes missing in action. A year later, Murphy learns that Rifkin is being held captive by the cartel's leader, Salvatore (Joe Lala), and with Reynolds' help, he sets out on a secret rescue mission using a state-of-the-art stealth aircraft to avoid detection by either Salvatore's gang or government troops. However, Murphy eventually discovers he's walked into a trap -- Reynolds and Rifkin are in cahoots with Salvatore, and they've staged Rifkin's capture to steal the jet for Salvatore's illegal purposes. John Carpenter directed this horror-western, adapted from the novel Vampire$ by John Steakley, illuminating the pivotal figure of fearless vampire killer Jack Crow (James Woods), who lost his parents to the creatures. In a remote New Mexico location, Crow and his team, protected with chain-mail fang shields on their throats, blast away at a vampire nest, haul them out with the Jeep's winch, and then celebrate by pulling on other wenches at the Sun God Motel. Their revels are soon brought to an end by king vampire Valek (Thomas Ian Griffith), who became invulnerable after a bungled "inverse exorcism" during the 14th Century. Amid the motel mayhem, Jack escapes, along with his buddy Montoya (Daniel Baldwin) and hooker Katrina (Sheryl Lee). Since Katrina was already bitten by Valek, they use her as a decoy to locate Valek. Cardinal Alba (Maximilian Schell) sends padre Guiteau (Tim Guinee) to join Crow, who is unaware that Montoya has been bitten by Katrina. The hunt begins. In this sci-fi action story set in the not-so-distant future, American and Russian scientific teams have joined forces to man a space station that is still being constructed as it orbits the Earth. After a number of flaws in the station's computer system become evident, Amanda (Teri Ann Linn), a system's expert, is put on a shuttle to the station to troubleshoot the equipment. Joining her is Russian technician Federov (Frank Zagariono), but en route it is discovered that Federov is actually a member of a terrorist group; after taking Amanda hostage, Federov threatens to destroy the space station and use SDI weaponry against the world if his demands are not met. With time running out, maverick shuttle pilot J.J. Hendricks (Daniel Baldwin) may be the only person who can rescue Amanda and save the world from the Russian terrorists. This noir crime drama set in Arizona and updated for post-modern sensibilities is similar in tone to other hip B-movie homages such as Bad Lieutenant (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994) and the previous year's award winning L.A. Confidential (1997). Ray Liotta stars as Phoenix police detective Harry Collins, a good-hearted cop with an understanding bartender (Anjelica Huston) and a gambling problem that's gotten him $32,000 in debt to a bookie, Chicago (Tom Noonan). Although Chicago offers to forgive Harry's debt in exchange for a murder, and Harry's crooked partner Mike (Anthony LaPaglia) offers to kill Chicago, Harry refuses their generosity, insisting that he will never welsh on a bet or betray a friend. In the first episode of Homicide: Life on the Street's two-part season five finale, word comes through that former homicide detective Beau Felton (Daniel Baldwin) has committed suicide. Paul is assigned to investigate the murder of a prominent businessman, and he soon learns that the field of suspects has been narrowed down to two -- the victim's sexually freewheeling wife Anna (Lesley-Anne Down), and Paul's wild-child daughter Jackie (Angela Featherstone). Neither Paul nor Eddie believe that Jackie could have committed the murder, and soon Paul is using himself as a decoy in a bid to find out more about what Anna does and doesn't know about her husband's death.
