Feeling as if her life has grown stagnant after all of her friends jump town in search of greener pastures elsewhere, an aimless office worker is urged by a platonic male friend to carve her own path in life and not simply go with the flow like a dead fish. Anthea (Charlotte Gregg) has sat idly by as all of her friends and acquaintances packed their bags in hopes of finding meaning in the big city. While there's little evidence that any of them really have achieved all of their wildest dreams, dejected twenty-something Anthea, too is beginning to consider the prospect of relocating if for no other reason than to escape the daily drone of her miserable office job. A man with no memory is unwittingly thrown into danger in this thriller with a comic edge from Australia. As Adrian (Clayton Watson), a young man who suffers from severe amnesia and can't retain a memory for longer than 30 minutes, is being held against his will by gangsters, he struggles to figure out what has happened to him, using his collection of scribbled notes and instant photos to recall recent events. Eventually, Adrian remembers Brandon (Nathan Phillips), who works at a home for the challenged where Adrian spends his days. Brandon is a champion surfer who is sentenced to work at the home as community service after becoming involved in a vicious fight. Brandon has convinced his supervisor Maxine (Marg Downey) to let him take Adrian and palsied Trevor (Steady Eddie) to the beach for a day in the sun; Brandon, however, has an ulterior motive, as a surf competition is being held at the seashore that day. A family man and working stiff has a lucrative but illegal sideline in this comedy from Australia. Actually, Eddy and his partner, Dominic (Gyton Grantley), commit murders for hire when they aren't busy on the ocean. Eddy already has a slightly bumpy relationship with both Yvonne and Chantelle, but things become more complicated when Chantelle is given her walking papers by her Russian fiancé, and her new boyfriend turns out to be a ne'er-do-well who might be one of Eddy's upcoming targets. When she chooses to postpone their vacation together in order to show a house to TV personality Sandy Upman (Rhys Muldoon), Danny takes matters into his own hands by fastening helium balloons to a chair and sailing over the city.
