An mishap involving Kramer (Michael Richards) during the annual Puerto Rican Day parade is the reason that this particular Seinfeld episode was withdrawn from NBC's rerun package (it did, however, make a return appearance in syndication four years later). Elsewhere, Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) worries about not getting home to see 60 Minutes, a vital part of her "weekend wind-down." George (Jason Alexander) is tormented by a laser pointer while trying to make a joke during the "Hindenburg" movie. And Kramer resorts to using a phony name during an urgent call of nature. But never mind all that: can the Mets pull out of an 8-0 downslide? ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
Imagine a world in which Yoko Ono (playing herself) wants to make a film for the Explorer Channel. Hired to direct the film, Paul (Paul Reiser) ends up on a five-day fast, with nary an idea in his head on how to accomplish Ono's goal of filming the wind. David Strickland makes his first series appearance as Hollis Pavelle, here billed onscreen as Sycophant #1. This episode is capped by a classic final shot invoking sweet memories of the "Ballad of John and Yoko." ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
Will (Will Smith) thinks he's scored a major coup when he books a juror (George Wallace) who has been dismissed from Uncle Philip's sex-scandal trial as a guest on Hilary's show. Unfortunately, the ex-juror is mighty angry, and his on-the-air invective causes a heap of trouble for Philip (James Avery). Horrified at how things have turned out, Will and Hilary (Karyn Parsons) come up with a "musical" apology to Philip--as if that makes the situation any better! Jay Leno appears as himself. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
After Carlton (Alfonso Ribeiro) strikes out with yet another girl, Will (Will Smith) tries to bolster his cousin's confidence by arranging a double date. Unfortunately, one of their dates (Tamala Jones) has a jealous--and enormous--boyfriend named Mad Dog (James Cardriche), who shows up unexpectedly. Escaping Mad Dog's wrath, Will and Carlton end up climbing onto the ledge of a tall building--and that's when the local "crisis unit" swings into action! ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
