Popularity kills in this dark comedy centering on the murder of a geeky college freshman who was rushing the most popular sorority on campus. Lana Stevens (Haylie Duff) is president of Omega Kappa. Omega Kappa is the kind of sorority that most college freshman would kill to get in to. Unfortunately when a geeky rushee named Katie is found murdered during the biggest party of the year, it appears that Lana and her friends are willing to kill to keep it exclusive as well. Now the hottest girls on campus are the prime suspects in the murder case that has the whole student body talking. Are these mean girls really so protective of their popularity that they would resort to murder? As the investigation gets underway, an unhinged detective (Tom Green) determines to answer that question and ensure that justice is served. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

An ambitious young woman who can't afford to pay for college throws caution to the wind by moving to New York City and attempting to break into the toughest stand-up comedy circuit in the country. Melissa Brooks (Christine Evangelista) is down on her luck, but she's determined to live her life to the fullest despite the fact that she can't afford a higher education. Shortly after moving into the cramped, one bedroom apartment shared by her eccentric brother Robbie and his boyfriend Miller, Melissa wanders into a local comedy club and lands a job as a waitress. As the owner of the club takes Melissa gently under his wing, the aspiring comedienne bides her time between slinging drinks to customers and carefully observing the many comics who take the stage. After learning valuable lessons from both her new mentor as well as such acclaimed comics as Donnell Rawlings, Kevin Corrigan, and Sal "The Stockbroker" Governale, Melissa finally gains the courage to test her material on some of the nation's most unforgiving audiences. As if the stress of making one's stand-up debut on the New York City stand-up circuit isn't enough to deal with, the pretty young comic soon finds herself involved in a complicated love triangle while attempting to resolve some serious issues from her sordid past. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

A directionless college graduate hatches a plan to save his father's failing used car dealership in this comedy starring Ben Savage and Jon Gries. Ford Davis has just graduated from college. He's twenty-four years old and still living with mom and dad. Having recently wrecked the loaner car entrusted to him by his father Big Len - the owner of a local car dealership - Ford is forced to go to work selling cars on the lot. It doesn't take long for Ford to realize that selling cars isn't easy, but thankfully his co-workers are willing to share the tricks of the trade. The CarBabes know that selling cars is all about selling yourself, and once Ford learns this little secret he's well on his way to success. After taking a sexy hairdresser on an unforgettable test drive, he's flipping cars like flap jacks and dating a beautiful new girlfriend. But trouble is afoot just across the street, because Hamper's Campers owner Ron Hamper is looking to move in on Big Len's property. When Hamper threatens to turn Big Len's business into a parking lot for his own used campers, Ford draws on the lessons learned from his father and the CarBabes to draw up a plan that could save the day. If Ford and his crew can somehow manage to move 300 cars in just one month, Davis Automotive will be able to stay in business and mean Ron Hamper will have to eat his words. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

This collegiate farce directed by Theo Avgerinos had its world premiere at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival. After a party thrown by his roommate, Coleman (John Hensley), violates their dorm-room probation, college freshman (at a thinly veiled New York University) Darren (Lou Taylor Pucci) loses his scholarship money and scrambles to raise the funds by selling 50 ecstasy pills given to him as an apology by Coleman over the course of a hectic day. While loading the pills off on fellow college students, friends, family, and Coleman's customers -- including a dominatrix named Petunia (Monica Keena) and an insanely off-kilter stock trader (Eddie Kaye Thomas) -- Darren must also finish a paper on Dante's Inferno, deal with his parents (Jane Lynch and John Kapelos) in New Jersey, who think he's gay, elude the mysterious Soul Man (Ron Yuan), and try to convince his crush, Grace (Kristen Bell), that he's not a sleazy drug dealer. Darren's crazy day comes to a head when some stupid but vengeful thugs led by Eduardo (Michael Pena) track down both Coleman and Darren at their dorm while the stock trader shows up looking for more pills. ~ Michael Buening, Rovi

Add Chappelle's Show: Season 02 to Queue Add Chappelle's Show: Season 02 to top of Queue
Season two of Chappelle's Show brings forth such guest stars as DMX, Ludacris, Jamie Foxx, Wayne Brady, Eddie Griffin, Samuel L. Jackson (hawking his own brand of beer), and Snoop Dogg (who also appears in puppet form!). In one memorable episode, Dave Chappelle reintroduces one of his season-one characters, crackhead Tyrone Biggums, in a "lost episode" of Fear Factor. This season also introduced the recurring segment "Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories," in which Chappelle would reenact supposedly true incidents between Murphy and such celebrities as Rick James and Prince (with Chappelle playing those celebrities). Other highlights include the trials and tribulations of a white family named the "Niggars"; Chappelle magnanimously taking the place of such famous black courtroom defendants as R. Kelly and Michael Jackson; what the world would be like if everyone was gay; a very close encounter with Oprah Winfrey; and the saga of "Prince NegroDamus." ~ Rovi

Season one of Chappelle's Show is highlighted by one of star Dave Chappelle's most inspired character creations: Clayton Bigsby, a blind man who doesn't know he is black and has become a race-bashing member of the Ku Klux Klan! Also good for laughs are Dave's faux "outtakes" from the miniseries Roots; a dramatization of what will happen when blacks finally get all that "reparation" money; the bigoted viewpoints of Hollywood's biggest animal stars; a crack addict's anti-drug speech at a grade school; the time-traveling "Player Haters"; Dave's recurring feature "Great Moments in Hook-Up History"; and funky revisionist versions of Ghost, Pretty Woman, and The Matrix. Guest stars include comedian Chris Rock, talk show host Carson Daly, musical performers 50 Cent and Mos Def...and Stephen King (!?!?). ~ Rovi

Stephanie Harker (Bellamy Young), stepmother of one of the victims of a double murder, is a key "player" in the subsequent prosecution. This time, the D.A.'s office faces opposition not merely from a single defense attorney but from an entire country. Crucial evidence is filed away in Canada, but the American lawyers are denied access because of Canadian opposition to the death penalty. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
