Lindsay Felton stars as Anna Morgan, a teenaged gymnast left paralyzed and wheelchair-bound after a fall. Anna's efforts to adjust to her situation are almost as painful as the accident which brought it about, no small thanks to the well-meaning but rather clumsy efforts by her friends and family to "help" her. As Anna slowly triumphs over tragedy, her parents and siblings also manage to overcome the many day-to-day crises which have caused them to drift apart over the years. The presence of Richard Thomas in the cast was evidence enough that Anna's Dream was produced on behalf of the PAX TV network. The film originally aired on October 4, 2002. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

After Danny (Rick Schroder) and Diane (Kim Delaney) decide to amicably break off their relationship, Diane joins Baldwin (Henry Simmons) and Greg (Gordon Clapp) in their investigation of a strangling. The victim is a 15-year-old girl who left behind a school essay which might contain a clue as to her killer. In another unrelated strangling case, the only witness is an apparently unhinged homeless man named Nicholas (Kevin Vincent O'Connor). And back on the domestic front, Andy (Dennis Franz) again goes out with Cynthia (Juliana Donald), the niece of his old friend Gibson (John F. O'Donohue). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
Still not fully recovered from the vicious attack that seriously injured him and killed Lucy Knight, Carter (Noah Wyle) finds himself face to face with Lucy's mother (Gwynyth Walsh). In other developments, Kovac (Goran Visnjic) commandeers a plumber's truck to rush a hit-and-run victim to the ER. Abby (Maura Tierney) handles a patient without Weaver's (Laura Innes) permission. Carol (Julianna Margulies) must tell a teenaged girl that she is suffering from something far more serious than a sexually transmittable disease. And Greene (Anthony Edwards) receives some bad news about his father (John Cullum). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
This final episode of Mad About You is set approximately 22 years in the future. Mabel Buchman (Janeane Garafolo), grown-up daughter of Paul and Jamie Buchman (Paul Reiser, Helen Hunt), follows in her dad's footsteps by producing a documentary film about her family. Several former series regulars and guest stars make cameo appearances as Mabel tries to trace the progress of her parents' marriage after a startling discovery made by Paul's sister Debbie (Robin Bartlett). Series star Helen Hunt directed this one-hour closer, which since its original network telecast has been divided into two half-hour episodes for syndication. ~ All Movie Guide
